WHAT A DAY THAT WILL BE!

Revelation 20:1-6

INTRODUCTION

What a Day that will Be...

What a day that will be, when my Jesus I shall see, When I look upon His face. The one who saved me by His grace. When He takes me by the hand and leads me through the promised land. What a day, glorious day that will be!

Man has been looking and longing for...

A day of balanced budgets, no more war, no more welfare, no more sickness, no more sorrow.

A day when the lion will eat straw with the lamb, and the child will play with the scorpion.

A Wonderful Day - A Glorious Day -

Satan = adversary, enemy, my enemy, he is the enemy of everything, good, bright, holy, happy  and wonderful

(1 Peter 5:8)  "Be self‑controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour."

Jesus will return and reign on earth for 1000 years Best fits the text and context - Revelation 19 - Return; Revelation 20 - Reign

Fulfills Prophecy

(Jeremiah 23:5‑6)  ""The days are coming," declares the LORD, "when I will raise up to David a righteous Branch, a King who will reign wisely and do what is just and right in the land. {6} In his days Judah will be saved and Israel will live in safety.
