Bushel of potatoes at the produce shed.
Just because one is bad and it may have rubbed up against another, it does not mean all are bad and must be discarded.
While human wisdom may lack great worth when connecting us to the Lord, “Divine Wisdom” does the trick and holds the ultimate value.
1 Corinthians 2:6–16 ESV
6 Yet among the mature we do impart wisdom, although it is not a wisdom of this age or of the rulers of this age, who are doomed to pass away. 7 But we impart a secret and hidden wisdom of God, which God decreed before the ages for our glory. 8 None of the rulers of this age understood this, for if they had, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. 9 But, as it is written, “What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what God has prepared for those who love him”— 10 these things God has revealed to us through the Spirit. For the Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God. 11 For who knows a person’s thoughts except the spirit of that person, which is in him? So also no one comprehends the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. 12 Now we have received not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might understand the things freely given us by God. 13 And we impart this in words not taught by human wisdom but taught by the Spirit, interpreting spiritual truths to those who are spiritual. 14 The natural person does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are folly to him, and he is not able to understand them because they are spiritually discerned. 15 The spiritual person judges all things, but is himself to be judged by no one. 16 “For who has understood the mind of the Lord so as to instruct him?” But we have the mind of Christ.

Don’t Throw All of the Potatoes Out!

1 Corinthians 2:6–7 ESV
6 Yet among the mature we do impart wisdom, although it is not a wisdom of this age or of the rulers of this age, who are doomed to pass away. 7 But we impart a secret and hidden wisdom of God, which God decreed before the ages for our glory.
Notice as much as Paul has been mindful to explain that human wisdom played no part in their work…he also did speak well of a different Type of wisdom.
Divine wisdom is far beyond the mind of man.
Come in close on the concepts of this wisdom
secret
hidden
decreed
before the ages
Secret in that it has been not fully disclosed.
Hidden in that God has kept it close to the vest for the purpose of allowing the completion of plans.
Decreed in that God has spoke its portion into existence.
Before the ages to recognize it is not new or newly formed.

Be Willing to Look for What May Not Be Easily Recognized!

1 Corinthians 2:8–10 ESV
8 None of the rulers of this age understood this, for if they had, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. 9 But, as it is written, “What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what God has prepared for those who love him”— 10 these things God has revealed to us through the Spirit. For the Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God.
People don’t automatically see because of a preconceived notion.
People don’t automatically see because of personal desires.
People do not automatically see because of their own biased thought patterns.
But here some don’t see because God has a purpose in it. V.8
“What no eye has seen...”
Can you really dive into this thought?
For the lost it is a philosophical rambling.
But for the Saved it is a joyous hope.
Can you truly ponder it for a moment?
What God has prepared for those who love Him.
The glorious reward that only God can prepare.
The glorious reward that only God can provide.
The glorious reality of this not being a hope only but a reality to come.
Yet the divine wisdom make them known.
“Revealed”

Unity Comes from the Wisdom Taught, Revealed, and Given by God.

1 Corinthians 2:11–16 ESV
What God Teaches, He reveals, and what He reveals, He Gives.
