While reading that story the passage from Psalm 139 came to my mind.
Psalm 139:13-16
13 You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother’s womb.
14 Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! Your workmanship is marvelous—how well I know it.
15 You watched me as I was being formed in utter seclusion, as I was woven together in the dark of the womb.
16 You saw me before I was born. Every day of my life was recorded in your book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed.
God has knit us together in a special way for a special purpose!
Within us is something great, something special
You can only do what God created you to do
The oak could not produce oranges, or flowers
All the oak could do was what it was created to do - to be strong and to grow tall.
The God who created YOU has a plan for YOU!
God has a plan for how he can use YOU with how He created YOU
11 For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.
Sometimes this plan is not seen right away. Sometimes we have to go through struggle and growth. But, GOD has a plan to use us in the way GOD created us!
May we be like the little acorn that grew into a big oak... TRUST in God's plan and God's timing!
