To Vaccinate or not to vaccinate?

Intro

As we heard on Monday, in the battle aganist Covid19, thousands of doctors have been working for over a year on a vaccine and now in many parts of the world it is already rolling out and soon in SA it will roll out to the general public.

We will then soon reach heard immunity and covid will be nothing more than a dark memory of a time God showed us just how powerless we are without Him and just how all sufficient He is for all of us.

It should be a time of hope.

But for many it is not. Fear, conspiricy theories, secrets have all contributed to many people being afraid, confused and unsure of what to do.

Within the next 2-3 months we will have to make a choice: To vaccinate or not to vaccinate.

Today, i humbly wish to share with you my views as your pastor and answer some of yoour questions.

The Full Gospel church has already made an official statment regaring the church’s stand on the vaccine and i also wish to share some of that with you, to help you make a more informed decision.

Now what does the church, or me as a pastor with zero medical expertise have any thing to do with a vaccine? Well there are a few ethical as well as spiritual connections with the vaccine than i am able to help you with.

1: It the vaccine safe?

The covid 19 vaccine has undergone the exact same testing as all vaccines go through. The only difference is that due to it being a world wide cause, data has been shared accros multiplie tests grougs, all undergoing tests simultaniously and as a result the timeline for producing a vaccine has been dramatically reduced.

However, in saying this, we cannot know for certan if there will be any long term side effects. There simply has not been enough time for large scale clinical trials.

However, turn out there is a benifit from living with potholes, no electricty and the ANC. Being a third world country we were obviously not going to get the first batches of the vaccine. We are getting ours almost 6 months after america and Europe.

Why is this a good thing? Simply because by the time we get our public supply, hundreds of million of people would have already had the vaccine and side effects would be widley known.

Basically America and Europe are OUR clinical trials.

I beleiev the vaccine is safe (partly because Medical Aid companies are pushing it and dead clints cannot pay the exhorbiant medical aid fees, so its in their best intrests to keep you alive.).

Yes, there have been a few cases of people having bad reactions to the vaccine, this is true for all vaccines. However their number is so small that it bearly even counts as a statistic.

Medacine is used widly in the Bible.

Luke himself was a medical doctor and the bible encourages us to make use of medicine when we are sick.

Ezekiel 47:12 NASB95

12 “By the river on its bank, on one side and on the other, will grow all kinds of trees for food. Their leaves will not wither and their fruit will not fail. They will bear every month because their water flows from the sanctuary, and their fruit will be for food and their leaves for healing.”

We have all taken medacine, for many of us, including myself, medacine has saved our lives.

2: Does the Vaccine contain Aborted Fetal Cells?

Now we get to an ethical problem for us christians.

In November I posted a scenario on the churchs facebook page. I posted it back then because i knew than soon this day would come. I asked the following question:

I have over 40 responces and all you said YES.

Now let me explain to you why I posed this question.

First of all, the vaccine does NOT contain any aborted fetal cells nor the DNA of anyone.

However, it is true that the vaccines was developed using the cells from an aborted baby.

And this is where ethics come into the picture.

So first of all why use an aborted baby?

1: Many virisus only infect humans so the virus would need to be cultivated in human cells.

and

2: Why not use an adult? Because human cells only replicate a certan number of times. Much less as we get older, so cultures have a limited life span.

Young cells multiply for much longer and far quicks )as the child would grow so fast). This means that the samples are longer lasting and more effective in growing virisus and learning how to treat them.

This however, is still in my opinion NOT a reason to kill a baby.

But let us look more closley and let us try to be consistant with our convictions.

This baby was aborted in the 1970’s. Its cells are still used to this day all around the world by pig pharasutical companies.

Vaccines are not the only thing to use aborted fetal cells. The majority of artifical flavortants are also produced this way.

Grape juice that has no grapes but still tastes like grapes has a grape falvorant added. This flavorant is a chemical compound that contains zwro grape, but triggers the same reaction when it comes into contanct with your taste buds.

To create flavorants, they test the reaction during development by using kindy cells, also from an aborted baby from the 70’s.

Your kidneys have a kind of “taste bud” quality and so they see how reral grape reacts and then try to replicate the reral reaction with an artificial one. Then for fine tuning it goes to normal taste tests, but 90% of the work is done using these cells.

Nestle, maggi, coke all use this technology. Basically thing that tasts like something, but has none of that something in it, uses these procedure.

I bring this up because i want your decision on vaccinations to be consistant.

If you reject the vaccination because it was developed using aborted cells, then you should reject artificial flavorts as well.

But lets talk ethics now:

A baby was murdered. That murdered baby’s body is being used to develop vacciness. Vaccines that save lives.

Lets go back to my scenario:

A baby was murdered, that murdered babies organs are avalible. You said that you would receieve them.

Ethically they are no different, One is organs, the other is cells.

This baby was not murdered with the intention to create a vaccine, it was simply murdered and its body aquired as medical tissue.

For me, If this baby had been delibertly killed to make a covid vaccine, i woulkd not take it. But it was not. It was an unwanted pregnancy.

This babies body could just have easily ended up as medical waste. But it was not.

Nothing can undo the murder of this child. And by you getting a vaccine developed using this childs cells in no way makes you copabible to his or her killing.

It is not just covid that used aborted baby cells btw.

Rubella (which i had have been vaccines against, so has Bella) also used it. Aling with the Hepatis A and chicken pox vaccine and many others.

3: It the vaccine linked with the Mark of the Beast?

This is a purley spiritual aspect of the vaccine.

We are told in Revelation

Revelation 13:16–17 NASB95

16 And he causes all, the small and the great, and the rich and the poor, and the free men and the slaves, to be given a mark on their right hand or on their forehead, 17 and he provides that no one will be able to buy or to sell, except the one who has the mark, either the name of the beast or the number of his name.
