Last week we talked about your Path your traveling.
How is your Testimony?
My Christian walk is
If you where on trial for your Christian walk would there be enough evidence to convict you?
We have to walk in Faith.
17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.
11 But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith.
38 Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.
33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
19 Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath:
20 For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God.
21 Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls.
22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.
Its not easy to mature in the Faith
it takes time
Some people want the Faith without the Fight.
you have to learn to hold on to God when things are easy and when things are hard
In other words you cant be a fair weather Christian
You have to hold on
Hold on to what the horns of the Altar seeking God
No body ever should tell someone its easy because its not
Paul said this toward the end of his life:
6 For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand.
7 I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:
8 Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.
