Because Jesus is better…than angels, than Moses, Levitical priesthood
Because the new covenant is a better covenant…than any previous covenant
Therefore, we note the following

Now the death of Jesus

It requires the death of the man—the man, Jesus
A prospective heir can refuse his inheritance!
Though the death is sufficient for all, only those who accept it get it

Just as it took blood to cover the sins of the past
It took the blood of Christ to pay for (atone for/propitiate) our sins
It was costly…the one and only son, unico hijo, of the living God had to die
Now, our debt of sin is fully paid
