“Therefor” is a link to the past

Because Jesus is better…than angels, than Moses, Levitical priesthood

Because the new covenant is a better covenant…than any previous covenant

Therefore, we note the following

Death Is Always Involved with a Covenant

At the first covenant—covering Adam and Eve with animal skins

…that one’s not even included in this discussion

Abraham’s covenant

Sinai covenant (one in play here)

Now the death of Jesus

Equates with a Will

It requires the death of the man—the man, Jesus

A prospective heir can refuse his inheritance!

Though the death is sufficient for all, only those who accept it get it

It Isn’t Pretty

Just as it took blood to cover the sins of the past

It took the blood of Christ to pay for (atone for/propitiate) our sins

It was costly…the one and only son, unico hijo, of the living God had to die

Now, our debt of sin is fully paid
