Make a shortlist about God—what does he mean to you?

Having read your own list about God, and having read the Psalmist’s list, you can then do what the psalmist did—praise God.

Go through some of God’s characteristics on your list and give thanks to God. The psalmist would have prayed from his list, “Thank you God that you are my shield.”

In this way you will be writing your own psalm of praise.
