Honor - valuing and esteeming someone with your actions.

As believers we should honor the Son, The Father, and Holy Spirit.

John 5:23 NKJV

that all should honor the Son just as they honor the Father. He who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent Him.

Colossians 3:23 NKJV

And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men,

Honor Others

Every success story is the sum of those who added

Nobody really gets anyplace along

Self made person is one of the biggest lies

We are also told to honor those who paid the price and add to our lives (high respect and esteem)

Fellow believers - Romans 12:10

Widows - 1 Timothy 5:3

Honor Related To Faith

Demons believer and tremble

Must believe God IS and IS a REWARDER of those who diligently seek Him.

Fear of the Lord ...

Great Faith - Great Honor

Only two times is anyone’s faith called Great by Jesus. Both of them were by Gentiles, not by Jews.

Little Faith - Little Honor

Matthew 13:54–58 NKJV

When He had come to His own country, He taught them in their synagogue, so that they were astonished and said, “Where did this Man get this wisdom and these mighty works? Is this not the carpenter’s son? Is not His mother called Mary? And His brothers James, Joses, Simon, and Judas? And His sisters, are they not all with us? Where then did this Man get all these things?” So they were offended at Him. But Jesus said to them, “A prophet is not without honor except in his own country and in his own house.” Now He did not do many mighty works there because of their unbelief.

Honor transfers reward

Matthew 10:41–42 NKJV

He who receives a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet’s reward. And he who receives a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man’s reward. And whoever gives one of these little ones only a cup of cold water in the name of a disciple, assuredly, I say to you, he shall by no means lose his reward.”
