WE LEAD WORSHIP FOR A DNOW AND HE COERCED ME TO RAP - TOOK MY MIC AWAY
Last night we talked about the initial disruption, when you experience that moment when God intervenes.
It is a moment in your life when everything changes.
We talked about Saul’s conversion where he met God and was ever changed to Paul.
HE DID NOT KILL ANYMORE BUT SUFFERED WHAT IT MEANT TO BE CHRISTIAN
God works in the disruptions of our lives.
Saul’s life changed, and so did his plans.
NOW NOTICE HOW I SAID DISRUPTIONS WITH AN ‘S’

How often do our plans change?

How often do our plans change?
Do you find yourself going one way and then something happens, and you are then going the other way?
SWITCH AND PS5
PLANS CHANGE/AND OUR PATHS CHANGE

Adam

Story of Adam

Thus says the LORD:

“Cursed is the man who trusts in man

and makes flesh his strength,

whose heart turns away from the LORD.

6  He is like a shrub in the desert,

and shall not see any good come.

He shall dwell in the parched places of the wilderness,

in an uninhabited salt land.

There is a path that leads to barren land.

CURSED IS THE MAN WHO TRUST MAN, HE TURNS HIS HEART AWAY FROM THE LORD
cursed means without blessing
“ARROGANT ATTITUDE”
what does barren mean? when we think of wilderness, we think of lush green trees, maybe a forest, but that’s not it.
IN THIS TEXT, THERE IS A CLEAR UNDERSTANDING THAT PEOPLE ARE THE PLANTS
harsh conditions. (WE ARE A SHRUB, NOT A CACTUS)
plants are parched.
salt land. (DRIES OUT EVERYTHING)
what leads us to this place, trust in man over trust in God.
i like to say that this is like the south bound highway

7  “Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD,

whose trust is the LORD.

8  He is like a tree planted by water,

that sends out its roots by the stream,

and does not fear when heat comes,

for its leaves remain green,

and is not anxious in the year of drought,

for it does not cease to bear fruit.”

There is a path that leads to an abundant stream.

we see a tree that has abundant water
all of it’s needs are met
not only that, but they are abundantly met
SOME TEXTS SAY MOVING WATER
OUR ENVIRONMENT IS BLESSING US BECAUSE OF GOD
WE ARE PROVIDED FOR
AND BECAUSE OF THAT, THE SUN DOES NOT DAMAGE US BUT WE BLOOM
this is what a life of trusting in God looks like
I would refer to this as the north bound highway
wolves in Yellowstone

We have the choice to switch paths and shift our trajectory.

there are two paths that we can follow, the south bound and the north bound highway
highways have cross overs
highways have obstacles (bumps, lane closures, accidents)
when we see these two paths, we must realize that we can jump off of one highway going north and turn around and go south
we can go south to north

Is God disrupting your flow of traffic?

are you north bound, trusting in God’s plan
are you south bound, trusting yourself or someone else (it happens to all of us some times/multiple times)
Is God disrupting your flow of traffic?
Is He taking you on a detour that is bringing you back to the north bound lane
We need to know where we are.
I AM GOING TO INVITE CALEB UP TO DISMISS Y’ALL AND GIVE ANY FURTHER ANNOUNCEMENTS/INSTRUCTIONS
