Ask for The Presence of God
Jesus says: Come to me all that labour and are heavy laden, and I will refresh you. (Matthew 11: 28)
God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that all who believe in him should not perish, but have eternal life. (John 3: 16)
I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me shall never be hungry and whoever believes in me shall never be thirsty. (John 6: 35)
Thanksgiving
Thank God for all the many blessings you have received, and for all that is at present being done for you; for all doctors and nurses; (for this hospital and all who work here).
Repentance
If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, God is faithful and just, and will forgive our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. (1 John 1: 8)
Let us ask God’s forgiveness for the ways in which we have failed him and others.
A short pause for self-examination.
The Pastor prays
Almighty God, who forgives all who truly repent, have mercy on you, pardon and deliver you from all your sins, confirm and strengthen you in all goodness, and keep you in eternal life; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

The Lord’s Prayer
Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. Forgive us our sins as we forgive those who sin against us. Lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. For the kingdom, the power, and the glory are yours now and for ever. Amen.
The Closing Blessing
The peace of God, which passes all understanding, keep your heart and mind in the knowledge and love of God, and of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord; and the blessing of God Almighty, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, be with you and remain with you always. Amen.
