Acts 13:1-3

Introduction

Basically two types of people in the world

Lost - Saved

Basically two types of Christians in the Church

Mature - Immature

Basically two types of Mature Christians

Goers - Senders

Tonight we are going to learn about Goers and Senders!

1A.      Goers and Senders are usually found together in the same Church  (1)

2A.      Goers are usually in the Minority  (2)

Goers are called out in the midst of ministry

3A.      Goers are the Doers and Senders are the Supporters  (3)

In order for the Goers to go, the Senders must Support them.

4A.      Goers and Senders are both Essential

(Romans 10:13-14 NIV)  "for, "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved." {14} How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in?  And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard?  And how can they hear without someone preaching to them?"

5A.      Often Goers will become Senders

(Philippians 2:19 NIV)  "I hope in the Lord Jesus to send Timothy to you soon, that I also may be cheered when I receive news about you."

(2 Corinthians 12:18 NIV)  "I urged Titus to go to you and I sent our brother with him…"
