Notes
Transcript
Proverbs 29:18 KJV 1900
18 Where there is no vision, the people perish: But he that keepeth the law, happy is he.

Introduction

Refer to the Discipleship class message
Mission of the Wisconsin District, and indeed the whole UPCI
We as a church, are going to do everything we can to help move the District and National Vision forward
We need to do three things:
We need to determine where we’re headed
We need to determine where we’re at
Then we can determine exactly how to get from where we’re at to where we’re going

Body

Long Term Plan

Strong Mother Church
Spiritually
Numerically
Financially
We want great, supernatural faith
Faith to see miracles, Signs and Wonders
Faith to see revival in our city
Faith in God to lead us where He wants us to be, even through the tough times
Train Ministry teams
Plant churches all throughout Lacrosse County and beyond

Short Term Plan

Assess where exactly we’re at
Spiritually
Numerically
Financially
Level of Faith
Get to know all of you
Break bread with you
Hear your testimony
Feel your burden
See where God might be leading you
Get a spiritual “feel” for our city and our county
Prayer and fasting
Prayer walks (more after we can move here)
Contact those who have visited / attended here in the past

Mid Term Plan

Get the body fitly framed together
Organizational changes
Fit the right minister with the proper ministries
Training and equipping
Releasing ministers to excel at their ministries
Training ministry teams to plant churches
Look at ‘Launch’ program (NAM Ministries)
We’ll train a complete team to go out and plant a church in a new area
We’ll send families with that team to support the new church plant
We’ll grow these new churches into strong mother churches
Wash, rinse, repeat...

The Vision for 2021

Assessment
Get to know all of you
Get a spiritual ‘feel’ for our city
Organizational changes
Get the body fitly framed together

Conclusion

Remember: Our path to our destination may change as we move forward, but our destination will remain the same!
Patience in seeing God’s plan come to fruition
Hebrews 10:36 KJV 1900
36 For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.
God’s plan for our church is so much greater than we can even imagine, but He has given us a glimpse of what He has in store.
1 Corinthians 2:9–10 KJV 1900
9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. 10 But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.
