God, you are Lord over all, Creator of the Universe, and mighty to save. You transcend every box that we try to put you in. You’re greater than our shame, our sin, and all of the kings and powers of the world. No matter what we think you are like, you’re bigger and more beautiful still. You share your throne with no one. We come before you as humble servants expectant of what you will do. God we recognize that even the ability to pray to you in an immeasurable gift of grace. We get to talk to you, the infinite God of the universe. Despite all of the times we continually turn away from you, you actually want a relationship with us, so much so that you sent your very own Son to pay the price for our sin at the cross. Thank you.
God, we recognize that even the ability to meet here without fear of persecution is a gift. Thank you for the men and women you have used to give us that freedom. May we never take it for granted. As we gather here tonight in peace, we pray for Christian all across the world who must meet in hiding lest they be punished. Would you bless their times together and bring them peace and freedom as they gather.
God, would bless our time in prayer together. God bring unity as we pray together. Would you speak to us and we seek your face. Thank you that you can hear and understand our prayers, no matter how clear or confused.
Lord, you say in your words that even if we would not sing, even if we would not call to you, even the rocks would cry out. Lord, our hope tonight is that we would give the rocks the night off. Would you bless our time together and we seek you
