I. The Call(Ch 3 — Vs. 1-4)

Here was an earthly bush burning with a heavenly fire. This bush was indicative of what God wished to do with this man Moses. He wanted to take an earthly vessel and light it with heavenly flame for all the world to see!
And I just want to say this morning friend, that’s what He wants to do with you too!
I believe God wants every Christian to be on fire for Him so the world will see and know who He is!
Jesus said in...
Matthew 5:14–16 14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. 15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. 16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
Romans 1:20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:

II. The Communication(Ch 3 — Vs. 5-9)

III. The Commission(Ch 3 — Vs. 10-22)

1. The Excuse(Vs. 11)

2. The Encouragement(Vs. 12)

3. The Explanation(Vs. 13-22)

I AM is the one who called Abraham out from his family and told him I would make the Father of many nations.
I AM is the one who made Sarah’s barren womb bring forth a child.
I AM is the one who provided Himself a lamb on Mount Moriah when Abraham was about to slay his son Isaac.
I AM is the one who wrestled with Jacob and changed his name to Israel.
I AM is the one who protected Joseph every step of the way and allowed him to find grace and favor in the sight of Pharoah.
I AM is the one who set him up as second in command in Egypt to in order to save my people alive during the mighty famine I brought upon the land.
And I AM is the one who sent me to bring you out from the bondage of Pharoah!
He is ALPHA, OMEGA, the beginning and the ending, the first and the last.
There was none before Him and there will be none after Him!
He is that which was, that which is and that which is to come! He is the great I AM!
Now this was Christ revealing himself to Moses right here and what I find most wonderful about this revelation is the fact that the Lord Jesus Christ simply began His “I AM” statement here but over a thousand of years later fulfilled it!
In John 6:35 He said, “I AM THE BREAD OF LIFE. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst”
In John 8:12 He said, “I AM THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life”
In John 10:9 He said, “I AM THE DOOR. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture”
In John 10:11 He said, “I AM THE GOOD SHEPHERD. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep”
In John 11:25 He said, “I AM THE RESURRECTION AND THE LIFE. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live”
In John 14: 6 He said, “I AM THE WAY, THE TRUTH AND THE LIFE. No man cometh to the Father but by me.”
In John 15:1 He said, “I AM THE TRUE VINE, and my Father is the husbandman.”
And the question this morning becomes, “do you have a relationship with the great “I AM”?
If not, you need to have, Amen!
