Burdens are Lifted at Calvary!

Introduction

I am beginning with the conclusion in mind and I will repeat it at the end with a similar Biblical reference.

In June of 1976, I attended my graduation bacaloriet service. The main Bible verse chosen for this service was Matthew 6: 25-27.

Be anxious for nothing - .......

This has lead me in the discovery of how I/we here are instructed in the Bible through the cross to handle and deal with burdens that come our way.

I’ll discuss 3 major burden types:

The burden of sin. The burden of anxiety. The burden of doubt.

I will conclude with the solution to all burdens: JESUS! Through His death on the cross.

Conclusion

Aren’t you tiered of the burdens you are carrying?

This Covid thing? The unconfessed sin that you have been carrying? The anxiety you have that you can’t shed? The doubt you have about a successful future?

I’m going to read you one more verse: Matthew 11:28-30 and Psalm 34:17-22

Come to Jesus for relief, & and He will give you rest!
