The Next Takes Preparation

Notes

Are You Ready?

We love to hear The Prophet call us out and say; “You’re Next!” That is because we believe that God speaks through His Prophets so that we can Hear Him clearly! This is Biblical and needed, especially in a time such as these.
If there ever was a time we need Prophets, this season is ripe for the Instructions Of God to flow clearly and fluidly through His Earthen Vessels!
There is treasure in these Earthen Vessels - Do not deny the Prophets because of your own thinking!
When your turn comes, especially when you been waiting for a while, are you ready to step up to The Next?
During the waiting period, have you prepared for what is to come?
Elijah told King Ahaz, prepare, for I hear the sound of rain coming. . .
Jesus said in Matthew 24:42 (NKJV) 42 Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming.
Watch - Division of the night - Also means to stay alert, to be ready to pay strict attention to, to keep awake, to be vigilant, to be prepared.
Watch also means - To keep your head, to keep a clear mind, to be sober, calm and alert, to keep cool, calm and collected mind, to maintain a controlled and disciplined life and Spirit!
We desire to enter into The Next, we want to have greater in the earth, we want to succeed, that is what we should expect, at the same time, in your current, are you preparing for The Next?
Are you staying alert? Are you paying attention to what is needed for the next level? Are you vigilant about being content in the state that you are in?
What am I saying?
To get the next level job, are you working hard now? Are you positioning yourself so that your gift will make room for you?
You do not have to boast, you do not have to put down, plot and scheme, or go along with the crowd, God has given you every opportunity, are you content with what He has blessed you with right now?
Are you keeping your head clear so that you can see the next from where you are now?
Many of us want the six figure job, we want the big house, the nice car, but are you taking care of what God has blessed you with right now?
Psalm 2:8, 10-11 (NKJV) 8 Ask of Me, and I will give You The nations for Your inheritance, And the ends of the earth for Your possession. 10 Now therefore, be wise, O kings; Be instructed, you judges of the earth. 11 Serve the LORD with fear, And rejoice with trembling.
God’s Word is active, we must allow our minds and hearts to be cleansed from those things that has caused us frustration, dejection, worry and pain, so that when we go to the next, we will not bring excess baggage which will cost us more to travel!
Hebrews 10:22 (NKJV) 22 let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water.
Just because you do not like where you are now, does not mean you get to become slothful about it, God has blessed you with this opportunity, regardless of how difficult it is right now, He has granted you Mercy and Grace to be here and be in it!
We all know that all things are working for our good, we must prepare now, for the next so that when God opens the door, we won’t be shocked or bewildered with the amount of effort it will take to maintain at this level!
You cannot allow your minds to be engulfed with the negatives and natural sightings. . . Because you do not know when that opportunity may present itself, keep your head and mind clear, always be alert, most of all, be disciplined!
God does not see as man does, He looks inward, not outward, this is why we must allow our minds to be renewed daily, so that Our Father will see that we are faithful and true!
Discipline is vital in the Kingdom of God! We talked about meditation last week, and how we must be disciplined with our relationship with God!
It is necessary to be intentional about your time with God! Jesus was; early in the morning He went to a solitary place - After His Intentional separation from the people, Jesus was empowered to go to The Next!
Mark 1:32 - 39 - They brought all to Jesus who were afflicted and needed a miracle! Seemingly, He was done at that level because He told the Disciples, as they were looking for Him and when they found Him, they told Jesus that everyone is looking for Him, but Jesus got instructions to move to The Next because there were others who needed what He has to give!
Many of us are stagnant because we are reveling in the success in our current!
It is great, thank God that He has caused you to triumph in this current! But God’s Will needs to be done elsewhere and He is telling you to move from your comfortable place to The Next place!
But we are afraid to move to that next place because we did not prepare ourselves for the move!
When The Oil is in your lantern, do not go without it, take it with you because you never know when the time will come there will be a need for the oil to flow!
10 Virgins - 5 took it with them - 5 did not!
They were not prepared for the next!
Just because you do not see it naturally now, does not mean you are to sit down on the stool of “do nothing” and just think all is well and nothing else is required of me!
When you have put your hand to the plow, there is no turning back, you are instructed by The Holy Spirit to continue on! You must prepare yourself for each level, regardless of where you are right now, it matters to the body of Christ!
Many of us have become lazy because we are not in the Physical Building, but God is exposing what we are made of in this season, are we going to continue to get prepared for what God will do next, or are we just going to ride out until the change come?
Paul was prepared for The Next - Acts 21:11–14 (NKJV) 11 When he had come to us, he took Paul’s belt, bound his own hands and feet, and said, “Thus says the Holy Spirit, ‘So shall the Jews at Jerusalem bind the man who owns this belt, and deliver him into the hands of the Gentiles.’ ” 12 Now when we heard these things, both we and those from that place pleaded with him not to go up to Jerusalem. 13 Then Paul answered, “What do you mean by weeping and breaking my heart? For I am ready not only to be bound, but also to die at Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus.” 14 So when he would not be persuaded, we ceased, saying, “The will of the Lord be done.”
Paul maintained a controlled and disciplined life and Spirit - He did not allow the natural to disturb his peace, nor move him from the assignment from God he must perform in the earth!
He was ready. . . Are you ready?
Jesus Christ came down and provided the tools for us to be prepared for The Next. . . He told us that “Much Will Be Required To Those Much Is Given. . .”
So instead of being frustrated with your current, embrace the possibility that God is preparing you for The Next in your life!
God is performing a New Thing - Are you ready? Noah built the Ark. . .
