Make Every Effort to present yourself approved to God

2 Timothy 2:15 LEB
Make every effort to present yourself approved to God, a worker having no need to be ashamed, guiding the word of truth along a straight path.

A Worker Having no Need to be Ashamed

Guiding the Word of Truth along a Straight Path

One must remember that the Word of God contains the WORDS of God, as well as the words of Satan, demons, angels, and man - both good and bad.
God is Truth, and cannot lie.
Satan is a Liar, and the father of lies.
John 8:44 LEB
You are of your father the devil, and you want to do the desires of your father! That one was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand firm in the truth, because truth is not in him. Whenever he speaks the lie, he speaks from his own nature, because he is a liar and the father of lies.

All Scripture is Inspired by God

2 Timothy 3:16–17 LEB
All scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness, in order that the person of God may be competent, equipped for every good work.
The writers of the Bible did not write by natural inspiration, or an act of the human will. The Holy Spirit is the Author of the Bible.
2 Peter 1:21 LEB
for no prophecy was ever produced by the will of man, but men carried along by the Holy Spirit spoke from God.
2 Samuel 23:2 LEB
“The spirit of Yahweh speaks through me, and his word is upon my tongue.
The Bible is Free from Error and Absolutely Trustworthy!
Psalm 119:89 LEB
Forever, O Yahweh, your word is settled in heaven.
Matthew 24:35 LEB
Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.
Deuteronomy 4:2 LEB
You must not add to the word that I am commanding you, and you shall not take away from it in order to keep the commands of Yahweh your God that I am commanding you to observe.
Revelation 22:18–19 LEB
I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: if anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues written in this book. And if anyone takes away from the words of this book of prophecy, God will take away his share of the tree of life and from the holy city that are written in this book.

As you study the Bible, ask yourself these questions:
Who is speaking: God, Jesus, Devil, demon, angel or man?
To whom is He speaking: to the nation of Israel, to the Gentiles, to the church, to men in general, or to some individual man or being?
How can this Scripture be applied to my own life to make me a better Christian?
