Walking Out The Vision - 02/14/2021

GIVE THANKS:
My Heavenly Father - My All and All, The One Who Loves Me Unconditionally, Gave His Only Begotten Son For Me, The One who is guiding me daily by His Holy Spirit, The One who has something in store for me that me eyes have not seen and my ears have not heard, nor has even entered to my heart.
Pastor Dana A. Holmes - My Pastor, The Pilot, The Apostle, The Dr., The Wise Master Builder, The Pastor of Pastors - The Gift God Gave Us - The Man of God That Has Spoken Countless Life Changing Words Into My Life Over and Over - I Can’t Wait To Hear What He Say’s Next.
First Lady Holmes - The Administrator, The Full Gospel Rose, The Business Woman, Skilled in Creativity, The One Who Goes Before the Lord and Pastor On Our Behalf to soften him up by the time he gets to us to keep him from firing all of us! We Love You!
Come on Y’all, let’s show her some love for her love, care and support for our man of God and what she does every day for this ministry.
My Wonderful and Supportive Wife, First Lady Johnson - My Blessing from God, My Good Thing, The Woman That Led Me To Salvation - Huge Reward Waiting For You for that. I wouldn’t be here without the Lord planting us here, I wouldn’t be here without Pastor Holmes obedience to God, but let me tell you, I wouldn’t be here without this awesome woman of God either. I thank God for you darling.
FGWWC Beaufort Family - Who Couldn’t Be Here Today Because of Bereavement In Their Family. I called and spoke to each one of them this past week to encourage their hearts. Let me tell you, they are some strong people that truly love the Lord. Before the calls were over they ended up encouraging my heart because of the teachings of Pastor Holmes over the years. Even though they are grieving the loss of a loved one, they have the proper perspective on death, especially for one that died in the Lord.
First Family - Dana, Tanisha, Katrina, Valante (Ro), Yoko and Alisha - You, along with the church auxiliaries have truly stepped up to an entirely new level of ministry work during this time of transition - The Lord is well-pleased and the ministry is thankful for what you do every single week. What you’re doing is far beyond helping parents in ministry, if it was only that, your plans just might come first. What you’re doing is certainly borne out of your own relationship with the Lord, which has given you the grace to make the type of sacrifices you all have made in leading the charge to make sure ministry happens on Sundays and through the week. Today, I just wanted to take the time to give you the proper thanks, which is a little more than a heart or comment on Facebook. Some times we get too comfortable with that and omit truly giving credit where credit is due.
Come on church, let’s acknowledge them by giving the Lord a praise for how He is using them.
Ministers Staff (My Colleagues) - Pastor Hinton, Min. Jones, Rev. & Min. Nixon, Min. Patterson and Min. Perry - We’ve been through a few things together.
FGWWC Columbia Family - My Proving Grounds, My Threshing Floor, I Love and Miss You - Abraham Had To Leave Home To Obey God - So Did I.
PRAYER - Let us go before the LORD
BIBLE CONFESSION
I. INTRODUCTION:
Ever since the Lord has called me into pastoral ministry, you may have been wondering what that’s really like, how things are going in Beaufort, what are they doing down their, how has things been working out.
No. Y’all wasn’t thinking that. Oh, well I’m going tell you anyway! How about that! Y’all still love me.
One of the biggest things for Kay and I, is how well Beaufort has received us, how well they have served us, how well they have responded to a change in leadership, because Pastor Hinton did a phenomenal job in Beaufort.
That is because of the demand for excellence that they have been taught by Pastor Dana A. Holmes.
Pastor told me that he was the least bit concerned about how they were going to respond to us, treat us and serve us; because he knew what he had put in them.
He had complete confidence about that! Because he knew what he had instilled inside of them. And we are thankful to God for that!
So church, without further a due, I will be ministering on today about “Walking Out The Vision”.
I sensed in my spirit on this past Thursday during my prayer time between 4-6 pm that this was the message to bring forth on today. It just kept popping up in my spirit during that time in prayer.
What signs He gave me, what the signs symbolize and how the vision was brought forth from those things.
II. BODY:
A. VISION:
Vision - A visual representation of God’s will given to an individual while awake or through a dream, while asleep. Both are given by the Lord, by way of the Holy Spirit.
What the Lord gives one person in their dreams and visions may be different than what he gives someone else for various reasons:
Your assignment
Your calling
Your level of maturity
And many others to say the least
As we have learned from our teachings, dreams is the language of symbols.
Whether a person has a dream or vision, both will require interpretation.
It is irrelevant as to which is greater, a dream or vision. Many people in the church world get hung up on that. What is most important is the interpretation of the dream or vision.
