The Death of Christ

11.  By His Death we are healed

Isa 53:5  But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed.

12.  By His Death we given all things

Rom 8:32  He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all--how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?

13.  By His Death those without strength are saved

(Rom 5:6 NIV)  You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly.

14.  By His Death sinners are saved

Rom 5:8  But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

15.  By His Death enemies of God are saved

Rom 5:10  For if, when we were God's enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life!

16.  By His Death the unrighteous are saved

1 Pet 3:18  For Christ died for sins once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God. He was put to death in the body but made alive by the Spirit,

17.  By His Death men are drawn to Christ

John 12:32  But I, when I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all men to myself."

18.  By His Death we have access to His Presence

Heb 10:19  Therefore, brothers, since we have confidence to enter the Most Holy Place by the blood of Jesus,

Heb 10:20  by a new and living way opened for us through the curtain, that is, his body,

19.  By His Death that God’s Great love is revealed

Eph 5:1  Be imitators of God, therefore, as dearly loved children

Eph 5:2  and live a life of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.

20.  By His Death we are freed from self-centeredness and live for Christ

2 Cor 5:15  And he died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised again.

1 Pet 4:1  Therefore, since Christ suffered in his body, arm yourselves also with the same attitude, because he who has suffered in his body is done with sin.

1 Pet 4:2  As a result, he does not live the rest of his earthly life for evil human desires, but rather for the will of God.
