Child like faith

Many of us should have no problem having this type of faith because adults already have enough practice acting childish,
But being Child like and childish have two different connotations

Childish

commonly means silly or immature. This adjective usually (but not always) points to unfavorable qualities.
Let me give you some examples of childish: you throw a fit when you don’t get your way, selfish, you can’t be trusted alone.
Being childish has connotations of being impulsive, unreliable, self-centered, and irresponsible. It suggests you lack the capacity to think beyond yourself.

Childlike

means trusting or innocent, and it generally refers to the more positive or favorable qualities of a child.
they live in the present. they have no concerns about money, productivity, or being cool.
there are no limits to their imagination, except what they've been exposed to.
they play and lose themselves in play.
they create with abandon.
they are endlessly curious, and ask questions … ... they love showing off to their parents.
Jesus in v. 14
Matthew 19:14 NIV
14 Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”
Jesus commands his disciples to allow the children to approach Him and not to forbid it or turn them away.
See Jesus makes Himself available to everyone indiscriminately, even those of low social status. but here he takes the opportunity to teach His disciples the importance of Child like faith and reminds reminds them of His earlier teaching when he called a child into their midst.

We are required to have a child like faith

Matthew 18:1–6 NIV
1 At that time the disciples came to Jesus and asked, “Who, then, is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?” 2 He called a little child to him, and placed the child among them. 3 And he said: “Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. 4 Therefore, whoever takes the lowly position of this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. 5 And whoever welcomes one such child in my name welcomes me. 6 “If anyone causes one of these little ones—those who believe in me—to stumble, it would be better for them to have a large millstone hung around their neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea.
So Love on your children teach them that Jesus loves them don’t ever hinder them away from coming to Jesus or cause them to stumble it will be the biggest mistake you will ever make
Matthew 18:6 NIV
6 “If anyone causes one of these little ones—those who believe in me—to stumble, it would be better for them to have a large millstone hung around their neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea.
