FOCUS

The moment anyone says yes to anyone or anything, they say no to a million other people & things. This helps us understand how important it is to know when & who or what to say yes or no to! Because every day we are constantly saying yes & no to people & choices & things … all day every day.

This morning we’re going to look at the story of the calling of Peter & Andrew and then Peter’s take on it a little ways down the road from that decision when he finds himself feeling the squeeze of staying with Jesus. We’ll see his struggle is real but his commitment remains. He knows Jesus is the one & only Messiah.

Leaving Everything to Follow Jesus …

1. is a decision that doesn’t just include but requires our whole heart.

The only options are all in or not all in when it comes to following Him.

Matthew 4:18-20 / 2 Timothy 2:4

2. will take you places you never would have been otherwise.

Leaving everything positions you for everything God intends concerning you.

Mark 10:17-31 (especially vs 28-31)

Making It Real
