WE have so much to be thankful for, really we do....

You are probably thinking what can i be possibly be thankful for brother Ron, My lights have been out my water has been out ive lost animals,… and the List Goes on

Yes there is and there was a very trying season a very testing storm

However there is much to be Greatful for

Its times like these where i draw closest to God… I sit back in amazment as He seems to effortlessly bring us all to our knees.

Remember my faviorite verse in the bible

Romans 8:28–29 NKJV

And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren.

This storm served His purpose for His Glory… We have realized we are not as tough as we once thought...... in our well stocked well heated well cooled homes even the best of money didn't provide comfort in this Storm.... This is how God humbles the proud.... He brings us to our knees make us see how easily how swiftly everything that we hold dear can be taken away ..That even things as simple as the light switch or the water at the tap that we have taken so for granted are His to do as He wills in a blink they can be Gone.

You see storms like this show the incredible love of God for His creation. It shown is His full might as he brings catastrophe in order to drive us back to him

It proves His love for us in

2 Peter 3:9 NKJV

The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.

God has been tring to get our attention for some time and America is deaf and dumb and Spiritually dead

He brought Katrina… We didn't listen

Then Ike … We didn't Listen then sandy .... we didn't listen the Harvey we didn't listen amongst may other horrific earth quakes wild fires God Has been pleading with us To wake up to listen to Him to turn from our wickedness and Seek Him and His righteousness

Then He sent covid have we listed ........ NO id say not we are more divided and there is more hate over that very topic it has been so politicized its absurd. God cares not about your political views He care about You. He cares about your heart.

Now we have just been through one of the worst winter storms of our lifetimes. Where every Texas county froze where millions were affected with power outages with no water and now.... Food shortages

Dont you see How much he loves us for he will allow these things as a loving Father to correct us that we would turn back to Him. Will WE? Will you...

2 Chronicles 7:14 NKJV

if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.

I didnt get out unscathed either God used this storm to shown me some rough edges of My soul that need work in the good times they seem polished but in the bad the obvious flaws are more present and were staring at me as though God hAD me under a microscope

Like many we had frozen broken pipes

like many we had animals that didnt make it through the storm ,

we had a fire in the chicken house

I was passing kidney stones all the wile

Ill tell you it was a good week ............................ Can I get a Amen

God showed His love for me

By showing my my flaws

By showing me my flaws he showed me his longsuffering His paitence towards me by showing His paitcence towards me He sowed His Love towards Me

You know I was like allot of you for a couple of day grumbling grouching absolutley hating all of it

But yesterday I was at walmart .............now mind you there is no grocieries whatsoever........because they lost power they had to toss nearly everything

But I found a gallon of milk on thing of grapes a few mangos and some tortillas and most importantly some Glue which I had been seaching all over for I found glue.

I was checking out and God reminded me of something through that of the cashier

It was her first day as cashier she was nervious we joked about them throwing her to the sharks, we talked about the storm and she reminded me that we need to be greatful for what we have and forget about what we lost, and she offered to pray for me.

So im going to take a few minuts this morning and do something different I want to hear from you what are you greatful for and how did God see you through the storm
