- Patient—love suffers a long time (2 Peter 3:9)
- John Chrysostom said this is the word used of the man who is wronged, and who easily has the power to avenge himself, but will not.
- Do you avenge yourself as soon as you have the opportunity?
- Kind—simple acts of being kind
- Does not envy or boast – humble

- Not provoked—even with annoying people

- Wants best for others—doesn’t want others to fail even if it advances them
