The Iron Curtain (In Progress)

Across the nation, in churches much like this one, millions are talking about God

People are sitting in pews much like these

Preachers are wearing robes much like this one

Music is played, with varying words, just like here

And all of it is meant to glorify God

And while we all worship God in our own way, the truth is we are not very different

Pentecostals like to shout

Baptists like to whoop

Methodists like sinking in monotone

Catholics have short services

And many other denominations handle their services differently

But truthfully, we are all gathering to worship the God of our salvation

We gather together to worship him because the bible tells us;

To forsake not the assembly of yourself

For where two or three are gathered in my name, there I am in the midst

For they (plural) who worship me, must worship in spirit and in truth

And despite this push to gather, the Church is facing a problem

Across the nation, we are facing a great falling away as people leave the Church

The number of people leaving exceeds the number of people joining

The Church of God in Christ, once the fastest growing is stagnant

Pentecostal Assemblies of the World, is now shrinking

Churches everywhere are reducing the number of services

Auxiliary groups are shrinking in churches across America

Many people are asking themselves; how can we stop this?

The Role of the Church

Get stats on number of Churches

Decreases in tithes

Decreases in attendance

The dropping of the veil signified a new covenant and a new chapter in the life of the Church

The period leading up to the cross was filled with rejection by people from all walks of life

People had rejected the Gospel and now it was being challenged by Christ’s crucifixion

We are facing the same problems


God is going to send a new revival into the house of God and when it comes people will come into the house of God like never before


Eyes have not seen and ears have not heard

It is time to cut the cord. We have to cease looking back and let the veil fall.
