Prophet — prophet was a spokesman for God; he spake in God’s name and by his authority

How is a prophet informed?
and he said, “Please hear my words: If there is a prophet among you, I, Yahweh, will make myself known to him in a vision. I will speak to him in a dream.
Not so with my servant Moses; in all my house he is faithful.
I will speak to him mouth to mouth, in clearness, not in riddles; and he will look at the form of Yahweh. Why were you not afraid to speak against my servant, against Moses?”
The Holy Spirit who knows the mind of God, who is God; speaks through dreams an visions and informs him of what is to be said to man
For to us God has revealed them through the Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, even the depths of God.
For who among men knows the things of a man, except the spirit of the man that is in him? Thus also no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God.
If the prophecy is of the Holy Spirit it is 100% true and reliable word from God
The Bible was written down by the inspiration from the Holy Spirit
the visions were given prophetically to the writer and the writer wrote in his own words
recognizing this above all, that every prophecy of scripture does not come about from one’s own interpretation,
for no prophecy was ever produced by the will of man, but men carried along by the Holy Spirit spoke from God.
All scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness,
would you consider all scripture to be Prophetic?

Jesus warned against false prophets
For false messiahs and false prophets will appear, and will produce great signs and wonders in order to deceive, if possible, even the elect.
but how can you tell?
you have to know the truth God and His Character, His word the Bible
We need to know Jesus and the true plan of salvation
we don’t want to be deceived
But you, dear friends, remember the words proclaimed beforehand by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ,
for they said to you, “In the end time there will be scoffers following according to their own ungodly desires.”
all around us are false heresies, that sound very good, with a smattering of christianeze
Now the Spirit explicitly says that in the last times some will depart from the faith, paying attention to deceitful spirits and teachings of demons,
What is God’s criteria for a true prophet?
a true prophet is motivated by a love of God, and His glory
the false prophet tells the people what they want to hear
their source of information
And Yahweh said to me, “The prophets are prophesying lies in my name. I have not sent them, and I have not commanded them, and I have not spoken to them. They are prophesying to you a lying vision, and a divination, worthless, and the deceitfulness of their minds.”

However, the prophet that behaves presumptuously by speaking a word in my name that I have not commanded him to speak, and who speaks in the name of other gods, then that prophet shall die.’
how can you tell if its a false prophecy
And if you say to yourself, ‘How can we know the word that Yahweh has not spoken it?’
Whenever what the prophet spoke in the name of Yahweh, the thing does not take place and does not come about, that is the thing that Yahweh has not spoken it. Presumptuously the prophet spoke it; you shall not fear him.”
God does not lie

Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to determine if they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.
the spirits who give prophecy is it the Holy Spirit? or spirit of the antichrist?
By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesses Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God,
what do they say about Jesus?
do they contradict what the Bible says
and every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God, and this is the spirit of the antichrist, of which you have heard that it is coming, and now it is already in the world.
you are conquerors
You are from God, little children, and have conquered them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.
satan has deceived many into believing the lie
we need to love those who are living in the lie
be gentle with them as we speak the truth
