We’ve been there, facing the unknown or the impossible.
Family, finances, career, moves, transitions, health.
Your faith determines how you respond to those situations.
Impossible situations train us to trust God.

The effect of hitting bottom.
Forces a decision:
Will you trust God or continue rebelling?
It can serve as a wake-up call.
It is better to not wait!
God will encourage you.
v. 2
What God said to Joshua, “See.”
This is part of a long process of preparation.
Joshua was chosen by God to be part of the grand plan.

Spent time dedicated to The LORD , the tent of meeting.
Spent time watching Moses and his relationship with God.
God may give strange direction.

Their reaction was to trust God.
God may not always tell you to do what you want to do.
Or even what you expect to do.

God is faithful to save.
v. 25
Rahab trusted.
The city is going to *fall* could mean a couple of things.
But when those walls began to break apart, Rahab and her family’s reactions / conversations?
Yet, what did they do? They trusted in the word of promise that was given to them.
A word of promise is given to us today:
Romans 10:9–10 ESV
because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved.
This is the relationship we must be in.
Joshua’s reputation which led to people recognizing the greatness of God.
