Chosen to Live Holy Moral (Principles of Right and Wrong-Ethical (Professional Standards of Conduct)

 

*Ephesians 1:4-5*

4 According as he (God) hath chosen us in him (Picked us Out for Himself)-(He Loved Us) before the foundation of the world (World Created), that we should be holy (Life Style) and without blame (Without Fault) before him (His Sight) in love (Be Loving People):

 

5 Having predestinated (Already Plan for Us) us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself (His Children through), according to the good pleasure of his will (What God wanted to Please Him)

 

*1 Peter 1:13-16*

13 Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind (Alert and Think Straight), be sober (Self Control), and hope (Look Forward) to the end for the grace (Special Blessing) that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ; 

 

14 As (Live) obedient children (To God), not fashioning yourselves according to the former (Don’t Slip Back) lusts (Life Control by Desires) in your ignorance (Didn’t Know Better):

 

 

 

15 But as he which hath called you is holy (God), so be ye holy in all (Everything) manner of conversation (Living)

 

16 Because it is written (God Says in Scriptures), Be ye holy; for I am holy (You Must Be Holy Too).

 

*1 John 1:7-9*

7 But if we walk in the light (Live in God’s Presence), as he is in the light, we have fellowship (True, Unbroken) one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth (Washes) us from all sin (Removes Sin and Guilt=Stain).

8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth (Refuse to Accept) is not in us.

 

9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us /our/ sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
