Doer of the Word

James 1:22

22 But (Remember This) be ye doers of the word (Content/Subject Matter, Objective/Purpose To Obey what you Hear), and not hearers (Good Listener) only, deceiving (Dishonest, Cheating) your own selves. - Reasoning Contrary to the Truth

23 For if any (One) be a hearer (Listens) of the word, and not a doer (What it Says), he is like (Same as) unto a man beholding (Carefully Looking at) his natural (Detail) face in a glass (Mirror): - Nothing to Improve Appearance

24 For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was. - Forget what they look like as soon as they leave.

Luke 6:49

49 But he (Anyone) that heareth, and doeth not (Do What They Hear), is like a man that without a foundation (Base) built an house upon the earth; against which the stream (Floods, River) did beat vehemently (Strongly), and immediately it (House) fell; and the ruin of that house was great (Smashed to Pieces). – You Life

Joshua 1:8

8 This book (Word of God) of the law (Do, Don’ts) shall not depart out of thy mouth (Speak It); but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe (See Till you Know It)  to do according to all that is written therein: for then (At This Point) thou shalt make thy way (You Make It)  prosperous (Wealthy), and then thou shalt have good success (Accomplish and Achieve).

Hebrews 4:12

12 For the word of God is quick (Alive), and powerful (Force to Move Anything), and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit (Breath of Life), and of the joints and marrow (Deepest Part our Nature), and is a discerner (Judge) of the thoughts and intents of the heart. - Exposes Us What We Really Are.
