1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

-         Don’t believe everyone claim Spirit of God

-         Test them out – False Prophets

2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:

-         You can know which spirit comes from God

-         Spirit says Jesu Christ Human Body

3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

-         False Spirit never admits Truth

-         Antichrist – False Christ – Enemy of Christ



4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

-         You belong to God – Defeated these Enemies

-         God is Great

-         Spirit in you is more Powerful then the one in the World



5 They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them.

-         These enemies belong to the World, World Listen to them

-         They Speak the World’s Language

6 We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.

-  We belong to God, and everyone who knows God will listen to us.

-         People who don’t know God won’t listen to us.

-          How we tell Spirit speaks truth from the one that tells lies.

Isaiah 56:5 A New Name

5 Even unto them will I give in mine house and within my walls a place and a name better than of sons and of daughters: I will give them an everlasting name, that shall not be cut off.

-         Special place in the Lord’s House

-         Monuments in His House with your Names

-         Better that Children – Stand Forever

John 6:51 Spiritual Food

51 I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.

-         Bread from Heaven

-         Eat this Bread and live forever

-         Life Giving Bread – Given Freely

Ephesians 3:20 Authority

20 Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,

-         I Look to Him who is able

-         Above that we Ask or Think or Imagine

-         His Power at Work in Us
