Adoration, Thanksgiving, Prayers, Offerings, Vows

John 4:24

24 God is a Spirit (Spirit Being-Living, Life, Person): and they that worship him must worship him in spirit (Led by the Spirit) and in truth (Realness).

-         True Worship takes place on the inside, Heart and Spirit of the worshiper

-         Worship pleasing to God must be unfeigned (False/Fictitious) and Transparent

-         Worship pleasing to God must be offered with a Humble and Pure Heart

-         Worship “in truth” connects the heart and spirit of worship with the truth about God and his Redemptive Work as revealed in the person of Jesus Christ and the Scriptures.

Psalm 86:11

11 Teach me thy way (In the Word), O LORD; I will walk (Live) in thy truth (Live According to your Truth): unite (Direct/Keep) my heart to fear (Worship) thy name.

- True Worship of God is Internal, Heart and Spirit rooted in the Knowledge of and Obedience to God’s Word

Leviticus 10:3

3 Then Moses said unto Aaron, This is it that the LORD spake, saying (Lord Meant), I will be sanctified (Show Myself Holy) in them that come nigh me, and before all the people I will be glorified (Light Up, Shine Bright to Draw). And Aaron held his peace.

Psalm 29:2

2 Give unto the LORD the glory (Worship that Glows, Radiates, Sparkles) due unto his name (All Power, Almighty, Everlasting); worship the LORD in the beauty (Splendor) of holiness (Wholeness and perfection)
