- If you aim for nothing, you are bound to hit it every time.    - Christian - Life of Faith and Plans for the Future

Proverbs 21:5

5 The thoughts (Good Planning) of the diligent (Hard Worker-Stick With It) tend only to plenteousness (More Than Enough); but of every one that is hasty (Short Cuts-Pushing) only to want (Still Be Wanting)-(Impatience/Poor).

Romans 12:3

3 For I say, through the grace given unto me (God’s Kindness), to every man that is among you (Warning to Each), not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think (Better than You Think); but to think soberly (No Addatives), according as God hath dealt to every man the measure (By your Faith) of faith.

Psalm 139:14

14 I will praise thee (Thanksgiving); for I am fearfully and wonderfully made (Created ): marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well

14 I will confess and praise You for You are fearful and wonderful and for the awful wonder of my birth! Wonderful are Your works, and that my inner self knows right well.

[1]

14 and I praise you because of

the wonderful way

you created me.

Everything you do is marvelous!

Of this I have no doubt.

[2]

14     Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex!

Your workmanship is marvelous—and how well I know it.

Psalm 1:1

1Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodlya, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. 2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. 3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not witherb; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. [4]

BLESSED (HAPPY, fortunate, prosperous, and enviable) is the man who walks and lives not in the counsel of the ungodly [following their advice, their plans and purposes], nor stands [submissive and inactive] in the path where sinners walk, nor sits down [to relax and rest] where the scornful [and the mockers] gather.

2 But his delight and desire are in the law of the Lord, and on His law (the precepts, the instructions, the teachings of God) he habitually meditates (ponders and studies) by day and by night. [Rom. 13:8-10; Gal. 3:1-29; II Tim. 3:16.]

3 And he shall be like a tree firmly planted [and tended] by the streams of water, ready to bring forth its fruit in its season; its leaf also shall not fade or wither; and everything he does shall prosper [and come to maturity].

[5]

1 God blesses those people

who refuse evil advice

and won’t follow sinners

or join in sneering at God.

2 Instead, the Law of the Lord

makes them happy,

and they think about it

day and night.

                †3 They are like trees

growing beside a stream,

trees that produce

fruit in season

and always have leaves.

Those people succeed

in everything they do.

[6]

1 1 Oh, the joys of those

who do not follow the advice of the wicked,

or stand around with sinners,

or join in with scoffers.

2     But they delight in doing everything the Lord wants;

day and night they think about his law.

3     They are like trees planted along the riverbank,

bearing fruit each season without fail.

Their leaves never wither,

and in all they do, they prosper.
