God Invisible

Colossians 1:13–20 NIV84
For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins. He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For by him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by him and for him. He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy. For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him, and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross.

Image or Imager of God - God Revealed Through Us!
Romans 1:19-20 Psalm 119:1-3
Romans 1:19–20 NIV84
since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them. For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse.
Psalm 119:1–3 NIV84
Blessed are they whose ways are blameless, who walk according to the law of the Lord. Blessed are they who keep his statutes and seek him with all their heart. They do nothing wrong; they walk in his ways.

Created AS God’s Image

Does or Did?

Adam walking in the cool of the day. Footsteps!
Genesis 3:8
Genesis 3:8 NIV84
Then the man and his wife heard the sound of the Lord God as he was walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and they hid from the Lord God among the trees of the garden.

Does or Did? After Sin… A long time ago in a galaxy far away?

Samuel, Enoch, Moses, and others.
Moses Exodus 3:4-5 Exodus 33:21-23
Exodus 33:21–23 NIV84
Then the Lord said, “There is a place near me where you may stand on a rock. When my glory passes by, I will put you in a cleft in the rock and cover you with my hand until I have passed by. Then I will remove my hand and you will see my back; but my face must not be seen.”

Does or IS Revealing Himself NOW?

As a Man - or In Mankind AGAIN!
In Jesus John 14:9
John 14:9 NIV84
Jesus answered: “Don’t you know me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’?
In Us: Romans 8:10 Christ In You| 2 Cor 4:6-7 earthen vessels | Gal 1:15-16 Revealed IN ME
Romans 8:10 NIV84
But if Christ is in you, your body is dead because of sin, yet your spirit is alive because of righteousness.
2 Corinthians 4:6–7 NIV84
For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ. But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us.
Galatians 1:15–16 NIV84
But when God, who set me apart from birth and called me by his grace, was pleased to reveal his Son in me so that I might preach him among the Gentiles, I did not consult any man,

Christ In YOU!

Col 1:27 Christ In YOU. the Hope of Glory | Christ, who is GOD, Is manifested IN YOU, and THROUGH YOU, TO OTHERS! The Hope of Glory.
Colossians 1:27 NIV84
To them God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.

God will return full of glory, and we will stand before Him face to face.

God has, and does reveal Himself to man as He so wills it. However biblically it is rare to encounter GOD Directly. And even so, impossible to see His face and live.
HOWEVER we SEE GOD in those who IMAGE HIM WELL
Who are we imaging?

Our bodies are our bodies, forever!!!

Get used to them!
We view them as the key limiting factor, but God designed them as the key identifying factor that you are HIS IMAGE and LIKENESS out of all creation! AND THE ONLY ONES CREATED AS SUCH!

WE image GOD to the world.

“What is your perspective of God based upon my life as an example?”

What would be their reply?
If you asked your friends “What is your perspective of God based upon my life as an example?” What would be their reply?
Would they desire to know Him more? Or have second guesses?
God is revealed to mankind, by the holy spirit, living in you! It’s up to us to partner in faith to allow others to see Him through His word, accompanied by Signs and Wonders!
