Women Superheros

Notes:

There’s a lot of women superheroes today. I think of Captain Marvel and Wonder Women. Wanda. Okoye from Black Panther.

Some men look down on this. There are many reasons why, but some of it is just because men are insecure. I like a female lead. A female superhero. One of the brightest moments of my marriage is when I saw supernatural strength in Janelle when she was going through the toughest moment of her life - Georgie’s birth. I her godly strength and I knew - I knew she was the only one I’d ever want to be with. She was God’s perfect gift to me.

The Bible has lots of female superheroes. Women who rose up and did amazing things for the Kingdom of God. When I think about it, almost any time a woman step for by faith in God, she became a superhero. That being said, you always see this supernatural strength being expressed without going outside the limits of Scripture. Any time it does - or is done without faith in God or the leading of the Spirit - then it falls apart.
