Sermon Tone Analysis

*Zephaniah 3:17*

17 The LORD thy God in the midst of thee /is/ mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will reste in his love, he will joy over thee with singing.



 

17 The Lord your God wins victory after victory

 and is always with you.

He celebrates and sings

 because of you, and he will refresh your life with

 his love.”

*Jeremiah 32:17*

17 Ah Lord GOD! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, /and/ there is nothing too hard for thee: 

 

*17 *Lord God, you stretched out your mighty arm and made the sky and the earth.

You can do anything.

*Exodus 9:16*

16 And in very deed for this /cause/ have I raised thee up, for to shew /in/ thee my power; and that my name may be declared throughout all the earth.

16 But he has kept you alive, just to show you his power and to bring honor to himself everywhere in the world.

*Ephesians 1:19*

19 And what /is/ the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, 20 Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set /him/ at his own right hand in the heavenly /places/,

 

*19 *I want you to know about the great and mighty power that God has for us followers.

It is the same wonderful power he used 20 when he raised Christ from death and let him sit at his right side c in heaven.

*2 peter 1:3*

3According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that /pertain/ unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us tob glory (beauty, power, or honor;)and virtue: (moral excellence or goodness)

 

*3 *We have everything we need to live a life that pleases God.

It was all given to us by God’s own power, when we learned that he had invited us to share in his wonderful goodness.
