Pressing Forward

Philippians 3:8-11

8 Yea doubtless (Worthless), and I count all things (Everything Learned/Experienced) but loss for the excellency (Priceless Privilege) of the knowledge of (Knowing)-(Advantage) Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss (Gave up) of all things, and do count (Consider) them but dung (Garbage), that I may win (Deeply, Intimately, Fully, Clearly) Christ (All I Want is Christ)

9 And be found in him (To know I Belong), not having mine own righteousness (Goodness)-(Me Acceptable to God), which is of the law (Ability to Obey God’s Laws), but that which is through the faith of Christ (I Trust Jesus Christ to Save Me), the righteousness which is of God (Right Standing) by faith:

10 That I may know him (Christ), and the power of his resurrection (Experience That Kind of Power), and the fellowship of his sufferings (Share In), being made conformable (Conform) unto his death;

11 If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection (I can experience the resurrection) of the dead.

Colossians 1:10

10 That ye might walk (Live and Conduct Yourselves) worthy (Honor) of the Lord unto all pleasing (Make Him Happy), being fruitful (Increase) in every good work (Kindness), and increasing in the knowledge of God (Know God Even Better)

Philippians 3:13-14

13 Brethren (Friends), I count not myself (I Don’t Feel) to have apprehended (Captured/Arrived): but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before (Time- Energy- Effort-Money), (Struggle Ahead)

14 I press (Run/Strain) toward the mark (Goal) for the prize (Identified) of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
