Rule #7. My doubt does not change or threaten God’s Sovereignty.
For what if some did not believe? Will their unbelief make the faithfulness of God without effect? Certainly not! Indeed, let God be true but every man a liar. As it is written: “That You may be justified in Your words, And may overcome when You are judged.”

A. My doubt will not change anything about Who God Is.
But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
Hebrews 11:6 - …without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
B. God is not obligated to answer our doubts.
If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.

Rule #8. Righteousness is about direction not perfection.
not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit,

A. The Direction of righteousness involves other people.
Romans 12:3-8 - we are all different, but all are called to do something.
Romans 12:9 - “let your love be without hypocrisy” abhor evil, cling to good
Romans 12:10 - put the needs of others before my own, giving, loving
Romans 12:14 - blessing others, even if they have done you wrong
Romans 12:16 - being of the same mind in unity
Romans 12:17 - not to repay evil for evil

B. Repentance is also about direction.
But we are all like an unclean thing, And all our righteousnesses are like filthy rags; We all fade as a leaf, And our iniquities, like the wind, Have taken us away.

C. The Character of God is Framed in His Glory.
For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so also by one Man’s obedience many will be made righteous.
Romans 5:19 - For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.
II My relationship to man .
Behold, how good and how pleasant it is For brethren to dwell together in unity!

A. “Abundant Life” is getting past “just getting by.”

B. My willingness to love other people.
A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.”
John 13:34-35 - A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. 35 By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.
Rule #9. Never try to fix people: focus on giving them the word!
For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God.
1 Corinthians 2:11 - For what man knows the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knows no man, but the Spirit of God.
