The Life you Choose – Wasteful/ Meaning/Purpose

Genesis 2:7

7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. [1]

7 Then the Lord God formed man from the adust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath or spirit of life, and man became a living being. [I Cor. 15:45-49.]

[2]

†7 The Lord God took a handful of soil and made a man. g God breathed life into the man, and the man started breathing.[3]

7 And the Lord God formed a man’s body from the dust of the ground and breathed into it the breath of life. And the man became a living person.[4]

Deuteronomy 30:15-19

15 See, I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil[5]

15 See, I have set before you this day life and good, and death and evil.

[6]

15 Today I am giving you a choice. You can choose life and success or death and disaster.[7]

15 “Now listen! Today I am giving you a choice between prosperity and disaster, between life and death. [8]

19 I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live: [9]

19 I call heaven and earth to witness this day against you that I have set before you life and death, the blessings and the curses; therefore choose life, that you and your descendants may live

[10]

19 Right now I call the sky and the earth to be witnesses that I am offering you this choice. Will you choose for the Lord to make you prosperous and give you a long life? Or will he put you under a curse and kill you? Choose life! [11]

19 “Today I have given you the choice between life and death, between blessings and curses. I call on heaven and earth to witness the choice you make. Oh, that you would choose life, that you and your descendants might live! [12]

John 10:10

10 The thief (What/Who is Your Thief) cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life (Enjoy), and that they might have it more abundantly. [13]

10 The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it roverflows).

[14]

10 A thief comes only to rob, kill, and destroy. I came so that everyone would have life, and have it in its fullest.[15]

10 The thief’s purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give life in all its fullness.[16]

The Life you chose: Who you go Serve

Joshua 24:15

15 And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.[17]

15 And if it seems evil to you to serve the Lord, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell; but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.

[18]

15 But if you don’t want to worship the Lord, then choose right now! Will you worship the same idols your ancestors did? Or since you’re living on land that once belonged to the Amorites, maybe you’ll worship their gods. I won’t. My family and I are going to worship and obey the Lord![19]

15 But if you are unwilling to serve the Lord, then choose today whom you will serve. Would you prefer the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates? Or will it be the gods of the Amorites in whose land you now live? But as for me and my family, we will serve the Lord.”[20]
