Why go to Church
Psalm 122:1
1 I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the LORD.
It made me glad to hear them say, “Let’s go to the
house of the Lord!”
Acts 20:27-30
27 For I have not shunned to declare unto you all the counsel of God.
27 I have told you everything God wants you to know
28 Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.
28 Look after yourselves and everyone the Holy Spirit has placed in your care. Be like shepherds to God’s church. It is the flock that he bought with the blood of his own Son.
29 For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock.
29 I know that after I am gone, others will come like fierce wolves to attack you.
30 Some of your own people will tell lies to win over the Lord’s followers.
30 Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.

- We come to Serve one another and Encourage one another
- We come for Training in Righteous
2 Timothy 3:16
16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine (Teaching in Beliefs), for reproof (Criticism for a Fault -Helping)( merits and demerits of and judge accordingly) (Point out Faults), for correction (Strighten Out), for instruction in righteousness (Showing How to Live:)
Hebrews 10:24-26
24 And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:
24 We should keep on encouraging each other to be thoughtful and to do helpful things.
25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
25 Some people have gotten out of the habit of meeting for worship, but we must not do that. We should keep on encouraging each other, especially since you know that the day of the Lord’s coming is getting closer.
26 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,
26 No sacrifices can be made for people who decide to sin after they find out about the truth.
Acts 2:42-47
42 And they continued stedfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.
42 They spent their time learning from the apostles, and they were like family to each other. They also broke bread g and prayed together.
43 And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles.
43 Everyone was amazed by the many miracles and wonders that the apostles worked.
44 And all that believed were together, and had all things common;
44 All the Lord’s followers often met together, and they shared everything they had.
45 And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need.
45 They would sell their property and possessions and give the money to whoever needed it
46 And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread fromc house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart,
46 Day after day they met together in the temple. They broke bread h together in different homes and shared their food happily and freely,
47 Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.
47 while praising God. Everyone liked them, and each day the Lord added to their group others who were being saved.
