What is our why? What are we looking for? What do we want from Jesus that we would follow Him?
Sometimes we know more of what we don’t want than what we do.
The Holy Spirit draws us:
The Holy Spirit draws us:
No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him; and I will raise him up at the last day.
All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will by no means cast out.
Now I am no longer in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to You. Holy Father, keep through Your name those whom You have given Me, that they may be one as We are.
It isn’t about whether you are in or out. It is about are you following or going your own way.

So when Jesus heard these things, He said to him, “You still lack one thing. Sell all that you have and distribute to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me.”
Jesus will bring us to the threshold.
[For my determined purpose is] that I may know Him [that I may progressively become more deeply and intimately acquainted with Him, perceiving and recognizing and understanding the wonders of His Person more strongly and more clearly], and that I may in that same way come to know the power outflowing from His resurrection [which it exerts over believers], and that I may so share His sufferings as to be continually transformed [in spirit into His likeness even] to His death, [in the hope]
He must Increase, I must Decrease!
He must Increase, I must Decrease!
Yet all of the accomplishments that I once took credit for, I’ve now forsaken them and I regard it all as nothing compared to the delight of experiencing Jesus Christ as my Lord!
