Papa Heart 2

Yeah, cuz Jesus said something huge and Matthew sexy says wherever your treasure is. That's where your heart's going to lie. That's going to be your heart's desire. That's going to be everything. You're like that's going to be the focus of your life. So my question is what it is the focus of your life.

At times it could be getting married at other times. It could be getting a good job a promotion. It could be taking that vacation that you've been planning for the last five years. We can make our our Pursuit all these days. But my question is where does your treasure line? What is it thing you trust the most and don't mind is not my cat. Do I love my cat? And I got my leg messed up for him, but my treasures not my cat.

I asked you guys questions last week and these were the questions.

There were three. Why do you do what you do?

It is so important to know why why do you do what you're doing? What is your purpose behind it? What is the reason behind it? The next one was what are you pursuing? What are you chasing? And then finally What's Your Hearts Passion to Hearts Passion? a lot of times when it comes to God, he doesn't like fault in the list.

Like when does God become Your Hearts Passion?

Like when you're passionate about God nothing else matters. I want to share something with you when you're passionate about Jesus. You don't have time to argue about theology.

You don't have time to argue about denominational stance.

Whether you worship with your hands up high or your face down low. You don't have to argue about that. Because the pursuit of your heart is Jesus.

And when he becomes the focal point of your heart all that stuff doesn't matter. Like you don't care if someone has a hat on their head while they're praying or not.

Cuz that's not your focus.

Your heart Pursuit is Jesus.

We're going to talk a lot about pursuing God and him becoming our hearts cry because until Papa becomes our hearts cry. It doesn't matter how much I say go out and share his love with people. If you're not passing it for him, you can't be passionate for the things about him.

But seriously when no one's around and you're like I don't have the best singing voice. I'm going to let it rip. And you know what? I mean and what's coming out.

What are you singing about? What's the tune of your heart?

Sullivan restarting the lead man, so or is it or or do you have a connection with God and the Inner Room of your heart where when no one's around you can't help but going to a worship tizzy.

It just happened this natural it becomes like the anthem of your life where it happens. If God and his love becomes the anthem of your very lives.

Are you pursuing. Only when you're around other people who are singing and praying to him or are you able to do that when no one else is in the room with you?

Like when you have your alone time, what are you doing? And I don't mean every time you're alone, but I'm saying what are you doing in your alone time? Is that the time you finally, you know, you you pull out that model car that you've been trying to build for the last couple years and you start building at and you're like the kids are gone. The wife is gone.

Maybe it's video games, or maybe it's working on that truck.

Or do you take time out for Papa? To say I love you. And I know you love me.

Just that statement right there speaks volumes.

The value that is speak says, I love you God, and I know you love me.

Are you still questioning if God loves you or not?

Or do you know it in the depths of your heart?

When adversity or reverse situations come in your life that hit you so personal does it make you question whether God loves you.

Does it make you say well, maybe he isn't that good? Maybe he isn't that great. Maybe he isn't that kind.

What are the anthems that that's been the song for me Anthem in the season and we sent it last week? It's been the goodness of God.

Who said that's a song in my heart?

Oh, yeah, I'm going through this and I'm humming and I'm singing with tears your mercy never fails me. On my days. I'm like, oh my God. Then they started last week and I bawled like a baby.

What is the anthem of your life and what is the anthem of your heart and your pursuit of God?

I found mine changing depending on the season, but it never stops directing me towards God.

I want to read it to you like this and you know seek you first the kingdom of heaven is righteousness and all these things to be out of this would have said so both all constantly chase after the realm of God's kingdom and the righteousness that precedes from him then all these less important things will be given to you abundantly this where Jesus was talking about. You do food clothing what you're going to do what I mean everything that would stress you out and cause anxiety. He says pursue me and I'll take care of all that other stuff and I love it because if you look in the original Greek for that word that word kingdom of God pursue it actually translate to realm of God.

He said a suit after the realm of God, but I like to push this a little bit further. And when I read this I had to question my first question is this how do I pursue God and how do I proceed with Kingdom?

Like I said seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, but how do you use for Sue that?

I agree there there has to be a starting point where I turn to him.

But then what do I do next?

Trust so turn trust.

He's first and everything don't make him preeminence given the pre-eminence of my life.

And that falls into Trust.

Yeah, I got to get to know a butt. But how do I pursue God?

That's the best Biblical scripture but in my day-to-day life, how do I pursue God?

Spend time.

I was more like you gym just to be honest. My wife pursued me. It was crazy.

Like whenever we hunt or go after something, it becomes a focal of Our Lives. We give it our attention. We do we set our affections on it like man. There's a time my wife received me and then all the sudden like she likes me. I think I like her. What's this feeling? I'm getting all these emotions what emotions

and next minute, you know, I was the skunk in Bambi.

So we give it our focus and our attention we start I love what you said. We start screaming at 4. You should we ski and we trying to make plans which we you plan to avoid other people plan to intentionally show up at their house with flowers. Send letters. We start hunting them down. But you Hunters who hunt deer and elk and everything else. You know what I'm talking about you guys go out there in the woods you put food out there way before hunting season.

You start looking at the area you start learning the patterns of the deer or the animal that you're hunting. I want to share this with you as Believers. If you're going to pursue God you got to start learning patterns.

But something's got those new with something. He just keeps doing the same thing here.

So you got to start learning the pattern of God, you got to start beginning to say got them for suing you for becoming the focus of my life. And then what are you do because I don't I don't know about you, but if men are going hunting what are they? Do they make time for it? Come on.

Beverage every day and there's things that hunt all kind of Seasons right? You got dear then you got turkey then you got squirrels possums.

But we build we start we start learning we start following the patterns and if if we're hunting a different animal than we change what were using to fit what we're chasing after. Why are you talkin about this? Because when we pursue God we have to begin to ask. What is your pattern and you can read the Bible to get an understanding of some of his ways but there comes a time where you have to say. I need to know you Moses near you.

Brasserie this time and place in our life where it's not is no longer good for me to read about the upper room. I need my upper room experience with God.

And it does not happen until you become intentional about it. Just like you were intentional about hunting down your wife.

Do you have to become intentional about cuz I don't understand like we we we don't want to be intentional about pursuing God, but we expect God to come and just do stuff and you will but he says I'm going this far. Yeah, you come the other way you guys remember the story of The Prodigal Son? The son's on his way home to his dad. His Dad season from afar off. What does he do?

that's simple 525 minutes of Lord. I love you. I worship you and you start doing that all the sudden you thought it was going to be 25 minutes. Okay, and it turned to 30 minutes because God Boom the room where you were at. And Annette and next thing you know you like I started paying for this person that person. I don't know what happened. All I know is I was thanking God and worship him and then he came in the room where I was aware of him in his present and he begin to move me into a place of prayer and worship. He also move some things out of my life that I didn't even know what they were. Broilers, I encountered God in 5 to 2 minutes and then you look at the clock and it turned into 30 minutes.

And now God isn't so boring anymore. Now is he?

If we are going to see our lives restored and transformed by God, we have to come to a place say Lord. I'm going to make you my Pursuit The Pursuit Of My Life. and just him

What do mean literally pursue him?

Do you know when men are pursuing women that it doesn't matter with their friends today? Hey buddy. Want to go bowling. Nope, not going bowling.

What's wrong with him? I don't know. Have you seen Jim lately now? It's been like weeks.

Are you going hunting this year now? I'm taking this year off. Do you want hun every year taking this year off?

You guys know what? I mean? You don't use that type of reasoning. You're like no I am after this and I'm going to get it so help me God.

You guys know what? I mean? You would give a football watching your football game. She wants to go to the movies. Okay, but that's the time football is what you going to do. I'm going to go with her to the movies. She was going to dinner. I'm going with her to dinner. Going to watch the game and now.

You start giving up things that you wants valued to get something more valuable to yourself.

Are you following me?

What the hell happened what change what what would the pursuit of your life changed? You begin to pursue God and you want to know him. Imagine what that looks like if you use that same passion the same heart desire to pursue after God.

I didn't even talk about pursuing the kingdom. I'm just saying God.

I'm going to open up my personal life. Feel like after you know, like I started pursuing God and stuff like man Derby Days ride stay up all night. Just worshipping.

I just worship God and praying for sue him and I wouldn't stop until I became aware of his presence. Not after I said my prayer list and went to bed. I mean I would not stop until the spirit of God would literally come upon me in such a way and my body would begin to vibrate with his frequency.

In my heart will begin the flutter and I can feel my heart transforming as if he was holding it in his hand and molding it. And then I would have this Rescue of love for people I never met. Like I would cry and pray for my brothers and sisters in China who are being persecuted whom I never met. I begin to pray God sends people because they need to know you and I never met these people but Lord I'm asking you to reach out person who is closed. Another way to help. I've been receiving for them. I don't even know their name God.

About people overdose and die in suicide it breaks my heart and I cry and I don't cry because their dinner quite because wizard not anyone around them.

to offer them the lifeline of Hope be in Christ Jesus.

I found what I pursued God. It did something in my heart right now actually went after his kingdom.

Start seeing people where they pursue the kingdom if you understand the kingdom of God is not a matter of M drink but his righteousness. Peace and joy in the Holy Ghost the kingdom of God is in the matter of cat power, but I seen people pursue after the kingdom of God and this Avenue and that Avenue and power but yet they're missing the heart of God. Like I don't care how much you pray in tongues and how prophetic you are. How many people got killed under your ministry?

I'm more concerned about what happens when you're in a restaurant and no one's looking in your mean to your waitress.

Because the food came out a little late.

Like you can pursue the things of the Kingdom where you can receive God and the things of the kingdom come naturally.

And there's just time where you do pursue the things of the Kingdom, but you never pursue it apart from the love of God. That's why Paul has a whole chapter and 1st Corinthians about love and showing you a more perfect way.

But you can do really good deeds and do it to add another notch on your belt and it's not really for the love of God. Do you know the best way to pursue God?

I'm going to shared with you. It's found in Scripture.

We're still in Matthew 6. Be careful not to practice your righteousness in front of others to be seen by them. I love that be careful not to practice your righteousness. So there's a place where you can practice righteousness. You can train in righteousness.

Can get really good at it. And gods are for that. and it goes on it says otherwise You have no reward with your father in Heaven. So whenever you give to the poor don't sound a trumpet before you as the Hypocrites do in the synagogues and on the streets to be applauded by people who guy tell you they have their reward. But when you give to the poor don't let your left hand. Know what your right hand is doing. So that you're giving may be in secret and your father who sees in secret will reward you.

Whenever you fast don't be gloomy like the Hypocrites for they disfigure their faces as a fasting. So that their fasting is obvious two people truly. I tell you they have their reward. but when you fast say that with me when you not if you

How many tons of people who tells me it's not biblical anymore. It's not New Testament and trust me. I meet them there like Jesus Paid It All I'm like, yes, he did so you don't eat them. Like Jesus said when you know this year.

Basketball I will talk about fasting one day. put oil on your head and wash your face so that your fasting is an obvious to others but to your fathers and secret and your father who sees in secret will reward you and if you have the King James it says openly Have you ever question for you guys?

But my question is do you want to tell God a secret?

You want to learn how to pursue God to get intimate with them into a place. It's in secret guys. It's when you're seeking him. You're he's your hearts pursue and and no one's around you do no one's going to Facebook posted. No one's going to go to YouTube and it's just you and God Pastor isn't around and you're just lowered. I love your worst of you in the crowd of your heart and is done in secret and all of us as you're out and about. Just reward you openly with what more of him

But you would literally be like what's going on in here God is doing a dinner transformation of your heart in the privacy of your home because you're spending time with you you're out and about people can see if they can sense. They can feel life Illuminating off of you because you've been with God

I know some of you were looking at me like fall. Is that scriptural? the apostles they were preaching about Jesus. They went to the Sanhedrin which was a religious leaders. And the sanhedrin's were the religious teachers and they understood they had well trained and they had these former swearing Sailors in front of them.

And they said to themselves we can tell these men are unlearned. But who taught them to speak with this knowledge and wealth as they did and they could tell that they had been around Jesus.

I don't know if that excites you or not. The religious leaders were like they were around Jesus. because the way they talked the way they would speak. What's conflict even yet confounding their knowledge?

When you spend time with God and no one has to know about it or you do stuff. He begins to transform your heart and to a place where people are like you must have been around Jesus.

Like Jim, would it be so cool if someone ran into you and because you've been with Jesus they look at you and they go off thinking. I think I just encountered an angel.

But I don't know if this man was real or not.

But because the way he was the way he was acting he spoke to my heart.

Cuz you been around Jesus. I'm going to make a clear statement. Jesus is not normal.

I think a lot of times we think Christianity has to be this this. I miss it. Very clear this. accommodating and non

When people meet you and their day-to-day lives, they should be like wow.

This is sincerity of your heart being connected with God where they're just like there's something different about them. I can't put my finger on it, but I want what they have.

People will not want what you have until you get something from someone else.

You say that again. Teeple will not want what you have until you receive something and I'll make him a value from someone else.

And you have a skill set that they need right?

So you have something of value that they need which then in return makes you valuable to the company.

Yeah, it's a god-given gift that you have.

Is that works and that way with man?

The Apostle's in the day of Pentecost. They received the endowment the baptism of the Holy Spirit.

when people see What you have when you're willing to share. I don't mean tangible goods. There is always time to share tangible good with people. I am talking about spiritual Goods.

we're going to go there. A person who's not born again cuz you're tangible goods.

A person who's not in a relationship with Jesus can do charitable Deeds?

You following me. Is it okay to call that put that in the category of natural?

And then we have to put something in another category. Supernatural

I'm not talking about natural good some terrible Deeds. I'm talking about supernatural goods and Supernatural Deeds.

That you received from the father because you spend time with them. And so now when you're out and about in your life, or even in your marriage.

I remember early on in my marriage where where new couple and when you get married and your new and there's his place of Jigsaw eat away at each other. So there's this nice connection.

He said you still there.

Jigsaw, where you guys are chiseling away and actually got their chiseling both of you. That he's trying to make a connection, but I would one of us has to be Jesus.

The guy was look at ours like one of us has to be Jesus. And so what I was literally meaning is someone has to die.

Someone has to hang there so I can receive something.

But someone I would tell her someone has to be Jesus. That means someone has to die to what they want.

So what I realized when God gives you a revelation like that. He's talking to you.

And I would be like I'm always dying Lord.

Borrow and we die daily if it's an hourly or a minute lycee.

What I found in my marriage, I would tell her this is what are the odds of who's going to do it?

I look at me as I really want to die right now. I want it my way while you got to die.

That's exactly what we'll be thrown in my face. I reached men love your wife like Christ loved the church and gave himself for her.

And let me tell you something Jim. If you know anything about me and ribs, I don't give those up pretty easily.

What a my marriage I would tell her someone has to be Jesus and then I would find myself saying okay, then I'll die. But I remember talking to the Lord. She wasn't around and talk in the god of my Lord. This is hard.

Is that would pray for her and I and I would I pray for her like a little rest and I was saying God like I want to share this with you when you're in adversity. The hardest thing to do is thank God for the adverse. So if you were we struggle we thank you God for your spouse. At time for your angry imagine that a heated argument for my wife.

So when I chose to do that and I said, okay Lord. I'm going to do this. I want to love her the way you love her and I'm going to just die to me die to self, you know, all of a sudden. I got the watch resurrecting power come out of my life and to her. I was doing and saying things not to get her to change, but it was just like something shifted.

Supernaturally, if they're looking for a formula, I don't have it the only from what I got for you. Someone has to die.

And I washed out how God will begin to heal things in her life through the willingness of me dying in my life.

Jesus death brought life to many your personal death to self to selfishness will bring life to your marriage to your family to your neighbors around you. Are you following me? And I remember one day. I was holding her and she just looked at me and it was really cool because I was holding her when I we got in an argument and it was funny cuz when we get in arguments at times, I would be going to say honey. I think you're this you're just saying that I don't like what are you talking about? I know what you're doing. I think what am I doing? You're calling those things as they are because they're not.

I need some coffee.

This is this really happened. I looked at like honey. I'm not doing that. I said I'm telling you what I see.

And I realize when you start getting God's perspective about people and things because you're willing to dye. It doesn't mean people have got perspective yet, but someone has to breathe God's perspective and what he sees on Earth. Someone has to begin to speak it out. Someone has to begin to say because I spend time with you god pursuing you and dying privately I can now live in a place of resurrection and pursuing you not only pursuing you in my life, but pursuing you and the life of my spouse because I see God in her. I see Christ Jennifer. Who's the hope of glory?

And I watched Guy begin to work and I remember I held her one day and she looked up at me. She said, honey. I'm changing I said, I know it's weird. I feel like there's this. Presence in the room. That's just breathing and moving. She's like, I feel like to Exodus Papa.

And I watch got to work there but it didn't happen through self-help books. Not against you guys getting self-help. That's fine. But I'm telling you. It doesn't happen that way. It happened through today Lord. All of me is here for you. Cuz I want to love people the way you do. And I made him my Pursuit. And then I wash the kingdom of God come naturally out of me because Jesus said the kingdom of God is where Within?

Hold on. I need to see the kingdom of God is in me.

That's Jesus's words. So I'm going to believe anyways, I won't believe that one. and the only way to release the kingdom Within

Is to pursue the king of the Kingdom?

I'm ending with this.

All these are ways you can pursue God privately when no one else is around. No one else knowing about it. God wants to tell if if you would tell God a secret he will tell you a secret.

Hi, my son. Kai he says daddy, I'm going to tell you a secret.

And I comes close you said what is it? And he talks pretty loud too, you know.

I want this for my birthday.

Not how you tell a secret.

As a kite and if you did as a guy, you know, you're you're like one of my best friends like yeah. You're my best friend too, Daddy.

And I thought to myself. That's how I want to be with God.

Only just like that. I want to tell you a secret Lord.

And these are ways in privately that you can begin to tell God's secret and express your love to him and then he'll Express his love to you back.

I know begin to speak prayer. This is either prayer walking for journaling. No one has to know about it. Worship Collective together but in your private time. There's times where I have to study because I know God give me a message. But what about my private time of study?

Hey, bro, I'm not going to go. I'm not preaching this. I just wanted to learn and know.

blood fasting Like I get people can fast for breakthrough or healing for people. But what about I just want to know you.

I'm not fasting for you to do something. I want to know you I'm hungry for you guys. There's meditation.

Meditating on Hemmings to meditate on who he is meditate on what he has done meditate on his promises and then meditate on scripture. Let me say that again meditate on who he is. Who is a relationship to you meditate on what he has done in your life bring to remembrance the things that God has done in your life and begin to thank him all over again for the meditate on scripture his promises what he says in his word then there's memorizing scripture how many people struggle with memorizing?

As you pursue him, you'll find that. He was always pursuing you.
