Historical Setting of Scripture:

Most scholars theme Psalm 55 as a prophecy of the New Testament of Christ betrayal to the cross. Dr. Vernon Mcgee thinks its a glimsp of the tribulation period. In my best estimation I read about a person who has been betrayed by his closes friend and he is very hurt and in distress. This person is David and he is hurt because the betrayall of his son Absalon and his friend Ahithophel.

He is restless

He Moanong out loud

His Heart is in Pain

He is fearful and trembling

He wants to fly away and be at rest

His most importatnt point is that some one close to him has created this pain.

Introduction

Today there are millions of people who have hatred in their hearts toward close friends and family because of betrayal. Betrayals build walls in human conscienceness and creates epidsoles of emotional outburst when engaged or trigger by thoughts.

Another hatred that is shown across the nation is racism . Racism is defined as prejudiced against or antagonistic toward a person or people on the basis of their membership in a particular racial or ethnic group, typically one that is a minority or marginalized. There is a debate that racism is only ochrestrated through the white race. In my opinion, that a false narrative. I think racism is displyrd through all races and religion who have the power to do so. Often time racism is mostly poloarized by race issues, however, it goes beyond those issues. Because what our Bible teaches us as sin, Christians can be known as a religion of racist people based on the definition I gave you racism.

I can’t change the outcome of any person belief, what I can do is make all of aware of the danger of treating people different because of their belief and desire to live their life . Many do not know that the hurt and anger that is internalized in individuals because of racial undertones and overtones. Black Live Matter reached it peak of support because many folks throughout the world really understood what BLM really stood for. All who supported knows that they felt left out of the American dream or they came to the conclusion that we have been sold a dream that turned into a nightmare. The impact of racism is the same as betrayal it builds walls in the human conscience in which bring episodes of oburst because of the seed of hurt and bitterness that was planted in the heart which now produces hatred and unforgivenss.

Now the church has to repair the hateful and hurtful heart that it created in the name of Love. If the church is to repair heart we have to seek he fce of God.

The Bible teaches about the heart...

That God only knows it

Jer. 17:10 I, the LORD, search the heart, I test the mind, Even to give every man according to his ways, According to the fruit of his doings.

Keep your Heart

Proverbs 4: 23 Keep your heart with all diligence, For out of it spring the issue of life

Anxiety of heart cause depression

Proverbs 12:25 Anxiety in the heart of man causes depression, but a good word makes it glad.

Our spiritual hearts are sensitive and it can become damage when hurt and victimizations becomes our source of life.

The Bible tells us to give all our heart to the Lord. Provbers 3:5 tells one to Trust in the Lord with all your heart. Jesus said Come to me, all you who labor and are heavy laden , and I will give you rest. Take my yooke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart , and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”

Jesus know that hearts and spirits will be broken . Some will be broken because of disobiedient and some because life has caused damaging situation. A broken heart can only be mended by God, he is the God that restores and heal.

Conclusion

Pslam 51: 1-14
