Each church in the book of Revelation had a problem to overcome.
For Ephesus, they had lost the love they first had for Christ.
For Sardis, they thought their church was alive, but they were dead, really dead! They were so dead, they thought they were alive!
And Laodecia, was a lukewarm church, not hot or cold, so mixed up with materialism, that Jesus had to invite himself into their church
Would you believe me if I said, every church has some type of problem she needs to overcome. Whether its the local church or the global church, we need to overcome the situation that hinders the church from being all God wants it to be!
When Jesus said you lost your love for Him, is He telling the truth?
When Jesus says, your church is dead, is the church dead?
When Jesus says, your church is lukewarm, and i just want spit your out, i wonder if He is kidding?
