Intro. - Jeremiah is an unusual prophet. God calls him to do a task that God says
he will fail in. Jeremiah was to proclaim a message to Judah and they would
reject it. Let’s examine Jeremiah’s faith to see how he was able to do this.

Judah would be defeated and Babylon rule. Jeremiah would not live to see
Israel restored, but it would happen - 32:36-41
We, too, must surrender for a future hope - Hebrews 11:13-16, Hebrews 12:1-2
Concl. - How could Jeremiah do this?
Jeremiah had certainty of purpose - he knew he was doing right
Jeremiah knew and believed God’s promises
Jeremiah understood obedience was a prerequisite of faith
