TEXTS: “O ye that love Jehovah, hate evil” (Ps. 97:10 ASV). “That which is exalted among men is an abomination in the sight of God” (Luke 16:15b ASV).
INTRODUCTION: We should hate the things that are abominable to Him. The Book of Proverbs tells us that the “perverse man (3:32) and the “way of the wicked” (12:26; 15:9) are abominable in God’s sight; it also describes that “way.”

CONCLUSION: What God loves, I must love; what God hates, I must hate. We must have hatred for evil and love for righteousness and truth. “Hate what is evil, hold fast to what is good” (Rom. 12:9).
