If you will only acknowledge God if you get a sign, you will only have a God as strong as your imagination.

The disciples couldn’t imagine that God would feed so many people with so little again.
They limited God to something less than He is because they couldn’t think big enough

You need to have a God that can break your expectations, and even tell you no

Your view of God has to be able to break your expectations
You won’t ever be able to put a cap on God’s power
BUT
Your view of God has to come with the understanding that you can be wrong about Him
Your God has to be able to tell you “no” or “you’re wrong”
Otherwise, He’s just a really powerful version of you.
If God operated by your subpar versions of Him, He would have never died on a cross for your sins.
Have you ever told God that you would do something if He did something? What happened?
2. Why do you think we limit God in our expectations of Him?
3. How do you think we can understand God better?
