Intro

Welcome to Forming Deep and Healthy Relationships where conflict is key!
My name is Cody Clark and this is my wife Talor!
Before we completely dive in to this session, I would love for us to dive in to Acts 2 to look at what kind of relationships we are striving for.

Read

Acts 2:42–47 ESV
42 And they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers. 43 And awe came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were being done through the apostles. 44 And all who believed were together and had all things in common. 45 And they were selling their possessions and belongings and distributing the proceeds to all, as any had need. 46 And day by day, attending the temple together and breaking bread in their homes, they received their food with glad and generous hearts, 47 praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to their number day by day those who were being saved.

Lead

Relationships within the church are really a blessing, especially done right. Lifegroup is really where your faith becomes your family.
Talor shares the story of our lifegroup experience over the last 1.5 years.
In the past 1.5 years, our lifegroup has laughed together, cried together, and grown together.
We have seen couples that have been living/sleeping together before marriage elope. Jennifer and Brian (Cody)
We have seen a couple that was on the verge of divorce seek help and begin to heal and learn how to fight. Chris and Lauren (Both)
We have had some people be incredibly difficult/petty, but God restored that relationship. Julia situation (Talor)
Relationships are very rarely easy, but they are always worth it.

Discipleship

Discipleship at it’s core is about relationships. Acts 2 says that the Lord was adding to their number everyday
People don’t care what you know until they know that you care.
