We are officially 3 years old!
On March 7, first Bible Study in Francisco’s home, and then on March 14th, 2018, the first official Bible Study under the Unchained Church name, with the presence of Pr. Tim Vink in Pr. Joshua’s house, when the CPT gave the official release for the new congregation.
As we have seen in the video, it’s been a wonderful walk, a time of blessings, communion and growth.
But today we look ahead, aiming what the Lord has in store for us.

As we celebrate our 3rd anniversary, we will see through the lenses of Scriptures what the Lord of the Church expects from it, what He wants to see in YOU AND ME, as we are His Church.

In a “post-modern” lost and chaotic world where the truth is relative, we must remember the words of the psalmist:
Your word is a lamp to my feet
And a light to my path.

It is very easy for the church to compromise, we live in a whirlwind of changes, and only the solid ground and foundation of the Word of God can guide and lead us.
But, what is the truth? The truth is a person, Who left very clear commands and guidelines of how life should be lived, and the Church is the guardian of that truth, through the Word of God:

There is NO such a thing as MY TRUTH!
We, as the Church of Jesus, must stand firm in defense of the true Gospel, as the world is upside down.
Today, as we all know, the trending of the moment is the so-called “Cancel Culture”, and this is not a new thing. The Enemy has tried to silence and cancel the voice of God for thousands of years, but he will not succeed. When Jesus came, the Devil tried to stop His voice since His birth, but He never prevailed.
That’s the main reason in 90% of everything we do at Unchained Church, we do it in such a way that exalts the pure and immutable Word of God.

This parable speaks about readiness and preparation to meet the Groom. The Church is the bride, and nothing but purity will be accepted.
It is never enough to remember that the Church that prevails does NOT conform with this world, we are NOT from here.
The church is not called to be a thermometer that shows the temperature of the room, the church is called to be the thermostat, which control and changes its environment.

Our eyes are upon the Lord, and we think of the things from above.
A church that has white garments and fresh oil always

At Unchained Church, a faithful agency of the Kingdom of God, we will keep fighting for moral, decency and principles that will continue preparing us for the wedding with the Lord. Here, man will always be married to a woman, bathrooms will be separated by gender, any form of abortion will be condemned and any form of secularism is not accepted. We will always live peacefully and obeying our government, but the final word, is always from the Lord!
At Unchained Church, a faithful agency of the Kingdom of God, we will keep fighting for moral, decency and principles that will continue preparing us for the wedding with the Lord. The Church of Jesus is a dynamic institution. We exist to serve and be the hand of God in this world, as the Lord Jesus did.
Jesus anticipated the questions He will make during the Judgement Day, and those questions have to do with feeding the hungry and thirsty, clothing the naked, going to the imprisoned, visited the sick and taking the stranger in.
YES, the church does have a social responsibility! If we do not do it, who will??
Unchained partners with institutions, and we try to do that, but we can do even better! We go out and preach the Word, and we will still do much more!

4. ITS ONLY BUSINESS IS TO MAKE DISCIPLES

The church which prevails will make disciples.
When the Lord talked about the church (one time) and after when preaching to the 7 churches in Asia, He NEVER spoke about temples, cathedrals, training and educational centers, or the church making money, or even pastors. He didn’t say anything about wonderful leadership training or how wonderful megachurches we could become, the only advice as far as making something was: “Make DISCIPLES!”

WHY??
Because the only way to make people know the Gospel and become sons and daughters of God is through discipleship. That’s why Jesus spent His whole 3 and 1/2 years of ministry doing just that.

The Church that prevails is not the richest one, is not a denomination, it is not necessarily the larger one, it is not the one in the most developed country in the world...

The Church of Jesus that prevails is that which, when He comes, will be found observing faithfully all these principles:

Standing firm and defending the truth through the Word of God;
Keeping itself pure and ready for the Wedding with Jesus;
Being shelter and a voice for all who need salvation;
Making disciples.
We are still a baby church, much to learn, much to live, but as long as we exist, these fundamental values cannot change, they cannot be adultered nor negotiated. That’s Unchained Church!
