Papa's heart The first week we ask questions and it was I to you do what you do. What are you pursuing and what's your Hearts Passion desire? The second week we looked at. We looked at all these activities that we can do to pursue God and that whole list. There's nothing wrong with that list. Those are ways that we can pursue got in a personal life that we can build on our relationship with him. But then finally last week we looked at.

How we have to when we were us when we when we do that list, we have to reach out to God. We have to repent of sin. We have to renew our mind and redirect our Focus. This is how you begin to build your life around God. Instead of scheduling and then you have to reach out to him because I promised he's already reaching out to you.

Then it's the part of repent which means change the way I think which means if there's things that God reveals to me. I need to come in alignment with him. And after I Repent of an old thing I have to see how to renew my mind into a new thing. But a lot of times we leave that place of I know this is wrong, but in this is right and we live in Romans 7 with Romans 8 is here when you get the renewed mind and Romans 8:28 says therefore there is no condemnation. He had a new way of thinking. I'm no longer condemned because I'm in Christ and then in I'm not walking according to my flesh. I'm walking after the spirit. And then he redirected his focus in activity. A lot of times. We don't redirect our focus and activity.

Dude, I'm so guilty of this. But you guys know you like more and I really want this but then you don't redirect. You kind of just stay there and the part of renewing. I know it's better. I know it's good, but there's no action that follows to know scripture and that apply scripture is evident that you don't know scripture.

Let me let me quote it like the Bible says it you must mix the word with faith because of his not mix with faith. It doesn't profit you.

Okay. That is the place between the renewal redirect that is the place in between there. You have to have your face. You have to have you have to begin to make an action towards what you're believing.

But there's also a deception that can lie there.

The deception that can lie in between those actions of I have faith. It's simply doing behavior modification. Is simply doing spiritual activities and good deeds and and thinking that you're going to tein a higher Spiritual Authority or influence over people.

It's so it's so easy to say. Well, I'm doing all these right things. I'm focused on doing that and then the stink because I'm doing what I'm doing. I have obtained a higher Spiritual Authority and influence.

Do you really want to know the Father's Heart? And do you really want to live there?

Because you can do all those that whole list and you can do a bunch of spiritual activity and you can do good deeds of people and totally miss out on knowing him.

I did called you like a week ago, cuz the Bible said, you know, there are many there I can come in that day and say Lord we chilled we prophesied we fed the we fed the homeless. And Jesus is going to turn and say to them. I never knew you.

I mean that's haunting, isn't it? I called that scripture where the Holy Ghost haunts you I'm getting haunted by the ghost.

It's good. Because you said I want a relationship goddess said I want to know you and you didn't know me. There's a church that really did this behavior modification really. Well, they really did a lot of spiritual Deeds very well. And then we're going to look at that church and and and it's called The Church of Keller Tire in the letter that was written by Paul is called the letter to the Galatians.

And this church was like dude it was it restarted off Paul went there. It was exciting and miracles were happening humans were coming out of people and then all of a sudden decided to say we're going to do was send in to higher spiritual levels 5 going back to the law.

By doing Behavior modifications by trying to make myself wholly apart from relationship with God. This is Rich. Let's look at it. I will be reading from the tlb is the living Bible. It says oh foolish Galatians what magician has hypnotized you and cast an evil spell on you where you used to see the meaning of Jesus Christ death as clearly as though I weight of a car before you with a picture on it of Christ dying on the cross. Let me ask you this one question. Did you receive the Holy Spirit by trying to keep the Jewish laws course? Not the Holy Spirit came upon you only after you heard about Christ and trusted him to save you. Then have you gone completely crazy for if you're trying to obey the Jewish laws. Trying to obey the Jewish laws. Never gave you spiritual life in the first place. Why do you think that trying to evade them now will make you stronger Christians stop?

You know how I'm telling you to schedule your life around God.

Like what I'm saying that I'm not telling you to make a bunch of rules of what you doing don't do and where you going don't go.

What you wearing? Don't wear what you eating don't eat.

Cuz that's what the whole Jewish law was about and it was about becoming going into a place of Saint will God. I'm doing all this activity to prove to you. I love you and that I want to be by you. I know that seems good. I like churches we can do it really well.

But is it really producing a Christ life in you and Christ likeness in you?

Or is it just hyperactivity? continue on you have suffered so much for the gospel. Now you're now you are going to just throw it all overboard. I can hardly believe it. I ask you again. Does God give you the power of the Holy Spirit and work miracles among you as a result of you trying to evade the Jewish laws. No, of course not it is when you believe in Christ and fully trust him.

Abraham had the same experience God declared him fit for heaven heaven only because he believed God has promised promises. You can see from this that the real children of a ramp are all the men of Faith who truly trust in God. What more the scriptures look forward to this time when God would save the Gentiles also through their faith God told Abraham about this long ago when he said I will bless those in every nation of trust in me as you do and so it is all trust in Christ share the same blessing Abraham receive. Those are taught the word of God.

They were Godlike. Everyone receives me Abraham the way you do those who have your blessing? What does church was on fire at one time but then they got into a place where they try to get close to God by rules and rituals.

It was a real person wasn't a relationship. It's like dude. I'm just going to be upfront with you guys. You don't we're singing and worship. I don't like guys just break loose and sing to your father as you would when no one's around.

Is it scary at times because you're like I don't have the best singing voice.

I got your real real story. So growing up. We were in this church choir called to come to Jesus band, right? So, it's me and my cousin were singing and so there was there was like the girls outnumber the guys like seriously. It was like 9 girls and three guys. So you know it and so they would Place Us in order of how you sound, you know, if you had a deeper Voice or higher voice. So my cousin like the other guy not my brother he was in and then I have my cousin Danny love the dude and Danny would seem right behind me and my brother and we were we were bad phenomenal drummer.

And so we're in this is like this done that Jesus that I don't like no, 11:12. Okay guys time to sing and you know, we're seeing and also yours.

Me and my brothers like to think it was right behind you like cuz we love you, but we got to have a real talk with you.

How many times? Have you been expressing your love for God and someone else around you didn't enjoy it.

So at that moment, you know, I'm like I'm young. I don't have like a clue. I just know it sounds like a screech owl.

But that dude was singing his heart out.

He knew he couldn't but he still did.

To tell you the truth. Tell the tire they they totally at one time was in love with God and I'm sure they still loved God because they wanted to follow these rules.

But the problem was they thought these rules made them closer to God proximity. and it didn't

Is that being mean cuz there's a man out there that wants Christians to get back into the Jewish roots. Am I speaking against that? Yes, if you're using it thinking it makes you closer to God. If you're doing it just to celebrate because it's the cool thing to do. I have no problem, but it always comes back to the place of the hard. Where what? What is the motive of the heart year?

My name is story of this these three pastors who were together. When was the Methodist homeless Catholic and when was Pentecostal? And they were talking about the best way to pray. Well the message it says well when I pray I have this whole set routine idea. He was telling him before I pray, you know, I hold my hands this way.

I take a deep breath in.

Can I follow my face? But I didn't do my knees. And then I get back up. So he had his method. The Catholic dude, he was like, I know the best way to pray. Takes out the smoking in certain and start swinging it. It looks good, and he pulls out his groceries every bead. Pray, praying on every beat is cuz I know some Catholics are some really cool dudes and they're doing I think this is the best way I found the prey. When you go to the Pentecostal, right? And he's like what what's the best way to pray and he said, you know I speak a couple shot by Baba's. And after I do that, I do a couple dances. And I found that that's the best way for me to pray and reach God. Could I tell you trusting in your message is not how you get to God?

the heart of those men a ride but their face and what they're trusting in is is misplaced.

And I do churches who have divided over misplace. misplaced

Paul even said you think you're of me another one seizure of Peter another one seizure of a Polish and you guys are boasting and causing division among yourselves can't you see that scar know? I thought you were spiritual children.

We like the music loud. We like him those these are areas where we have to get back into focus and alignment with God in our heart to say none of that matters. What matters is I know you and you know me and we have this relationship to whether I'm in an Amish church, and I was promised you and they were singing and let me tell you it's completely different then. What were you saying? And then I didn't even know what they were singing to be honest. I was just going along with it all.

I was just going along with it if they were born again. I'll mention I was in the church and I'm just like I mean for me the best part of the service was a little girls crying Mommy. I have to go pee it was right before the preacher like was reaching into the church looking at Dead Silence. And I got to watch all these people try not to laugh.

Forget it.

Like even in that like even in our worship, even an in that place do we think that because if there's an interruption like a child yelling that we can't worship then what are you doing?

You ever find yourself looking out at all these distractions and stuff and thinking needs distraction. Stop you from entering into God. Like it's really weird to me because God is already entered into you.

God has already entered into you. So what do you mean you're trying to enter into God?

And you can't because there's distractions.

We're going to give anyone would be distracted this God, you know all the activity on the earth going on and he singles you out to say I'm putting my spirit in you.

Like that's totally cool. That's like wow God you're that focus in a world full of chaos and stuff around us that you're still here with us and that you loved us so much that your products to a place where we can know you intimately personally into a place where we can display our love for you not out of Duty but out of Desire.

This is where your life shifts at.

I'm not into playing ring-around-the-rosie and trying to get to God.

or Hokey Pokey like we're trying we're trying to do this activity to get tan. I'm telling you already have him. She's already with you. He's in you. But you said we'll tap. I hear what you're saying, but

I don't really experienced him.

You can do all this that God is in you with you. You have to do any activity or anything you just you just say, thank you. You restart your day and just say thank you. Pop for that. You're here. Like I went to sleep you were here and I woke up and you're here and I'm taking a shower and you're here. And even when I'm smelling the bathroom up here here.

And it sounds silly but it's true.

What would it look like if we kept or we got to a place where he said God? I just know you're here.

If we lived our lives around God it isn't by activities, but it is by the recognize ations that he's here.

What if it really looks like me building my life around God's is recognizing him in the moment. weather I feel sense or knowing my heart he's here because he said so

I told you let's build on a place of he's here because he said so and if I sense and feel him today, and if I don't sense him feel him ye because he's here.

Do you want to make your life stop having these ups and downs with God? These imbalances I'm going to tell you the secret like, you know, we one day you want to it's really good.

I've been there. I'm not telling you this from a person who haven't been there. I'm telling you this person who's been there and I'm working on burning it.

We have not arrived, but I'm on the train hit that right. chugga chugga

So what it looks like it is the sacred here, it's me recognizing that he is here with me.

The thought that I had about it was I don't build my life. I'm feeling the presence of God. Instead. My life is built on knowing God's present is present.

That changes the way I act that changed the way I think it puts me in a place of Thanksgiving naturally in which I can no longer both in my activity.

The deception with doing the right thing is because I did all this right stuff now right things have to happen. But then we meet Believers where I do right things and bad things happen to me.

How many people know what I'm talking about and that we have the question? Why did this happen God and why and what and who and how and where is Horton that anyway?

So where we going with this? What do we do with all that? Like I'm doing right and there's a reason why we do right? We don't do right. So right things happen to us we do right because we've been made righteous by God.

Righteousness is just simply the right way before God and the right actions before men.

Righteousness, it's simply the right way before God and the right actions towards men.

You can do the right actions and not be the right way with God. And that's called behavior modification could secretly behind the closed doors. You're saying that I'm doing all this so they can like and accept me. And you're doing it for validation of one's self? Define your worth and identity in.

and even when you have crappy actions

God will work on you say I want you to speak life over that I want you to go forgiveness and next minute, you know, you do right actions because you've been made right by God. It is so much better to be right with God in the right way with God and have some messed-up action and got work with you to fix those then they have right actions and not be right with God.

I promise you this comes from the same place as what we've been talkin about Intel lations. Right action, but not right with God.

But we can build our whole church on doing right actions. Get things moving.

Come on you guys doing I mean look at it really good at you all this right stuff and totally become secret sensitive and no longer in tune with Holy Spirit and built around a program and now Papa's knocking at the door and we're like I ain't got time for you.

Would it be okay to have a mess? Baby, don't got it all together but got through working on this and we're getting it there. But we're right with God. He's right here with us.

It is far better to live with God in a messy life. Then to live without God in a clean life.

Because with the clean life comes Pride. Come self-value. It looks a lot like this guy who came to Jesus. He was a rich young ruler and Jesus teaching people in this Rich Young Ruler. What do I do to get into heaven in Jesus is like Jesus like why you know what the Commandments are. He's like, yeah love the Lord. Thy God with all your heart soul in mind and love your neighbor as yourself and he said, oh, you know that you do well, but there's one thing holding you back dude. He's like, what's that sell everything you have?

What are you going to do today. Ask you to sell out?

Come on. What are you going to go? See if we can look at that story and say oh no. Oh my gosh. I can't believe you walked away from me about you and your life and I want you to sell out in this area.

My feet won't stop over excited. Those are the places where God's like that's that's that's why I'm telling you. I want you to love me at and you won't ever sell out unless you know his love. So what about the spiritual activities or is there anything wrong with it? Now? There's nothing wrong with doing the spiritual activity prayer journal and work their stuffing wrong with it, but it's wrong when you think that is why you're close to God.

I love children's Lassie. It's like the sound of Heaven in it. No crying on the other hand.

In scripture says that we're going to brief you look at this and wrap it up.

Paul is talking to the galatian church still work now. And he says don't be misled. Remember you can't ignore God and get away with it. A man will always reject the kind of crappy Soze. Every cell is to please it's on wrong desires. She will be planting seeds of Evil and you will surely reap a harvest of spiritual Decay and death. But if you plant the good things of the spirit, he'll reap the everlasting life that the holy spirit gives him. And let us not get tired of doing what is right. After a while, we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don't get discouraged and give up. and then finally says that's why whenever we can we should always be kind to everyone especially to our Christian Brothers.

God is saying this year. He's like this is principal that's in me called sowing and reaping you. So to your flesh you reap from your flesh. You still to this. We from the spirit.

We put more emphasis on our activity of selling. Then the promise of a produce from the father. And the promise of a harvest from the father. Activity is fine cuz scripture tells us don't get tired of doing good, right so we know that's not bad.

But it's bad when your heart motive. And your face is in your activity. And not in Papa's promise.

What up? What do you mean to have himself gave us and she said look you so this way you'll reap the swac.

So if I sold him my spirit man hear me out by so if I begin to sow to the spirit through prayer and fasting through all these things.

Is it me becoming more spiritual or is it me becoming more sensitive to the spirit?

Let me say that again. Is it me becoming more spiritual or is it me becoming more sensitive to the spirit?

That is a key Point. What do you want to do through me but there is a place of our responsibility fee. I can live. What do you want to do through me and God's like I want to do a lot for you. But how do you want to do through me? I need you to come in alignment with me more. How do I come into alignment with you more spending time with me? Cuz why cuz when you spend time with me time comes back to you. Cut Redeeming the time. But the question Still Remains, am I more spiritual am I becoming more sensitive to the spirit?

It is sensitive to the spirit.

When you sow to the spirit. to God You become more sensitive aware of him. then when you're not So a lot of times Our Lives we rebuild our allies without showing into him. But when we do we think because we sewed we're better. We're more spiritual we have ascended to a higher level.

When really you just became aware of where you already were at.

when really the truth is you became aware of where you already are at because my Bible tells me we're seated with him and where my Bible tells me as he is. So are we in this? How old are you guys didn't read that one. The Bible says Jesus is right now presently. So are we in this world?

but how come I don't live out and experience how he is presently.

Because there's a time where you have to build in your relationship with him and you're not selling you're not doing all this activity because you think it makes you better you're you're becoming more sensitive to him and in the sensitive of God when you become sensitive to God there was a time my life had become more sensitive towards my wife. That was nice. Just like you told.

I mean, I'm just being real. I had to become more sensitive to her preferences and how she receives things because she doesn't receive things the way I received. three processes internal iliac process externally

and she's looking at me like honey. I'm like, why are you responding honey? Why are you talkin back? I am still think.

You begin to build your face not in what God done or how you feel, but it will be built on simply who got is.
