For the final week on ‘Growing in Prayer’, we’ll think about the importance of praying for other people. As people growing in the likeness and mission of Jesus (as priests under the supreme Priest), we are called to intercede under the modelling of Jesus. And there’s no better place to turn then the wonderful prayers of Paul throughout his letters to the different churches. His passion for prayer is matched only by his passion for the gospel and its outworking in the churches he loves. With a particular focus on Colossians 1:9-14, we’ll consider the most important things to pray for others; that together we can become fruitful, strong, healthy, growing trees.
