(Isaiah 55)

The Invitation to Come

The recipients of the invitation

All who are thirsty

Those who have no money

The nature of the invitation

Come to the waters

Come buy wine and milk without cost

Stop wasting your money and time on what is not good for you and does not satisfy

Listen to me and eat what is good and brings delight—and find life

The benefits of accepting the invitation

An everlasting covenant of faithful love

A place of prominence among the nations

The Invitation to Seek

The recipients of the invitation

The wicked

The unrighteous

The nature of the invitation

Seek the Lord

While He may be found

While He is near

Forsake wicked ways and unrighteous thoughts

God’s ways to not man’s ways

God’s thoughts are not man’s thoughts

Return to the Lord

Benefits of accepting the invitation

Pardon

Joy

Peace

Prosperity

God is made famous
